It has nothing to do with a bad computer board. This company looks for a way to deny claims. i had one other claim and they tried to deny it as well. Save yourself some agravation and stay away. They must post their own positive reviews. They took my $65.00 fee and did nothing"

Trusses and rafters each have advantages and disadvantages, so one isn’t necessarily better than the other. For example, trusses are more affordable and often come in prefabricated kits, so they’re easier to build than rafters. Building code allows 24-inch on-center spacing for roof trusses. However, you can install them on 12- or 16-inch centers to handle large loads or other exceptional circumstances. In cases such as covering a wide span or supporting alternative roofing materials, where a structural engineer needs to evaluate or create a design for your trusses, the plans will indicate the spacing. 

In general, hailstones need to be at least one inch in diameter to cause damage to a roof. Smaller hailstones can also cause damage, but usually only if accompanied by strong winds or striking aging roofs in poor condition. Obviously, the larger the hail, the more potential for damage.

Whether flashing goes over or under shingles depends on the type of flashing. For example, with step flashing, the shingles go on top, but they overlap one another. So technically, flashing goes both over and under shingles. But generally speaking, flashing goes under shingles and beneath the house siding. And in most cases, you can't see the flashing from the ground.

Chimney caps have a solid top but perforated sides so smoke can exit safely. If rain or snow falls downward, chimney caps can protect the chimney’s interior. Just note that if rain or snow blows in sideways, there’s a higher likelihood it will enter the chimney—but it's not often a cause for concern as long as you have a cap.
