We had the work done in May and they are still keeping my money as of August. If they change the work order do not pay the full amount unless you get a new contract. Unlike paint, concrete stain won’t peel off. Instead, the color absorbs into the surface of this porous building material. You can also paint or stain it if there isn’t any surface damage to address and you’re just dealing with discoloration. For a quick and easy solution, you can also cover up any unsightly spots with potted plants, garden statues, lanterns, and other decorative items. Even if they don’t completely disguise the problem areas, they’ll still spruce up the overall look.

Concrete resurfacing is the process of applying a new, thin layer of concrete over an existing concrete slab to give it a fresh appearance. The new layer is often between 1/4-inch and 1-inch thick, so it involves much less material than you’d need to pour a new slab, which is often 4 inches thick. Resurfacing also gives you the opportunity to add color or texture to your slab without totally replacing it.
