"I had a large stairstep crack in my garage wall that needed addressed. I had Alford give me a quote along with 2 other companies. Alford was by far the best all around, not only were they more affordable they were on time and very professional. The crew that came were knowledgeable and hard working and got right to work digging and installing 4 piers to stabilize my garage. "Workers cleaned and treated crawl space for mold and encapsulated the crawl space. The next day, Jim came and installed a dehumidifier. He noticed a couple of things that we’re done quite right. The crew returned and fixed those issues. No payment was requested until job was completely done. Humidity under the crawl space went from 87% to 55%."

"Jodie Machen is an outstanding workman and job manager. Our home is a old steel-baron era mansion from 1929. It needed a new roof and significant association flashing work. Jodie Machen was the perfectionist I was looking for. Not only did he do an immensely careful job, but he was thorough in his communication with me throughout, calling to touch base not just on formal aspects of the job, but also on convenience questions. His personal presence on the job made sure that his standards translated to his work crew, and together they presented a polite and professional group who I felt very happy to have around my little kids. I would unhesitatingly recommend this company! As an aside, Jodie Machen also fixed a difficult plumbing problem for us, so I suppose he would be great for other similar work as well!"
