Brad told me his team has years of experience and it shows. They made sure everything looked it's best and functioned for the purposes I needed it to and I didn't even have to ask. The ideal gap between a doorframe and slab is 1/8 of an inch. If the gap is any larger, the door will feel drafty. But if the gap is any smaller, the slab can get stuck due to weather changes.

Sometimes, these two terms are used interchangeably, but they are separate parts of a door, and each serves a different function. The sill helps ensure the doorframe is secure, and the threshold helps protect the sill and direct water away from the door to prevent leaks.
