"I was able to contact them quickly and have them at my house within 4 days to remove one small tree, one large tree, and a cedar tree/bush. The arrived on time, worked hard, cleaned up everything, and were done within about 4 hours. Shane even visited the neighbors in advance to let them know what would be happening today and got their agreement, unbeknownst to me prior to starting the work. He scoped out the street ahead of time to make sure their trucks could fit (narrow streets) and to get permission to move the cut logs/vines through a neighborâ s yard to reach their truck. I do recommend their services, as my contact with them went very well."

"Punkin Patch was the only business that showed up a 2nd time. Out of 5 that I hired last season through HomeAdvisor. HomeAdvisor recommend certified professionals. Just not sure what there profession was. HomeAdvisor needs to be more thorough. Some of the characters that have shown up. Couldn't started my own reality show."

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

It is good to spray water on a Christmas tree to help keep the needles hydrated. Spraying a Christmas tree with water prevents dryness, stops needles from falling off, and reduces the risk of fire.

The amount of time it takes for a tree trunk to rot depends on several factors, including the tree’s size, species, and environmental conditions. It can take anywhere from a few years to several decades for a tree’s trunk to rot. A tree stump, on the other hand, can take up to 10 years to disappear after it’s decayed naturally.

Dutch elm disease can’t harm humans. In fact, according to Cal Fire, bark beetles aren’t even typically dangerous to trees unless that tree is already weakened. The problem comes when Dutch elm disease kills a tree. That tree is more at risk of falling and catching fire, which can pose a serious threat.

The speed of your tree root removal process depends on a few different factors, including the size and type of tree. However, the fastest method of killing tree roots is applying chemical herbicide, which starts working quickly and efficiently. But this removal method has its drawbacks, such as having a negative effect on the surrounding vegetation and landscaping. Other options like rock salt and stump grinding work relatively quickly and cause less damage to your yard.

Only trim palm trees as needed, which is usually about once per year. However, don't stick to that schedule if the palm tree doesn't need it. Avoid trimming palm trees when possible. It’s best to trim palm trees only when you notice a buildup of dead fronds. That said, leave the brown fronds during the dormant season because this organic matter helps protect the tree from the cooler weather.
