A couple more weeks passed with no reply until last week a crew came to my door and in very short order made the repair at no cost to me. Communications could have been better but the end rresult is what matters. Positive experience overall."

With proper maintenance, vinyl siding can retain its appearance for years.

Traditional clapboard siding, particularly with panels made from wood, is not a significant insulator on its own.
