In gaining access to our attic via a gable, a squirrel had made a 2" hole in vinyl siding that General Building Supply had installed several years ago.  We called them for a repair, and the next day they sent their installer to our home to look.  He said that to perfectly repair the hole, we would need to replace the entire piece of siding, which now was available only by special order in two package bundles for $800.  He suggested that we visit the shop and try to find a piece of scrap of the same color that we could use to make the repair from access we had from the interior.  We did, and the staff there was extremely friendly and made helpful suggestions.  We also had purchased replacement windows from them a few years ago, and we were very happy with the result.

They were good. They were on time, stuck to the budget and friendly. I am happy with the work.

We started with wanting new windows in our sunroom. GBS was the only company that worked with us to get top quality windows for that space that was always cold or hot. They were comparable in price with other companies, they were punctual, gave quality installation and checked with us later for our opinion of their work. We had them replaced all of our windows over a three year period. Excellent home town company.

They did a really nice job. If we had any questions later on they come back to help us and fix the issue.

They have a really good selection and they are always professional and courteous. They always run really good sales. They welcome me as soon as I go in and they don't ignore me. They offer wonderful discounts on mixed paint that people didn't want that they sell. They send out coupon books. They are really good for the neighborhood. Their prices are really good. They will look up items for me. I will absolutely continue to go there.

The salesman, David Jones, looked until he found the windows that met our needs. He brought the installer who was helpful. The windows are top of the line as are the doors. We can now use the room year round. The installation took about three days and was very professional. Each day all debris was removed. Now the price was expensive, but this was because of the huge custom sizes we required. We are having them come back and replace our front windows this year. We were very pleased.

They do a lot of different things for your home. The general manger came and gave a good estimate. They arrived on time and did a good job.
