"I was very impressed with Sentri Homes - their customer service was excellent. They sent a subcontractor to install some vinyl laminate in my bathroom and he ended up getting glue all over the carpet in our bedroom. The sub ended up ghosting both me and Sentri, leaving me stuck with a ruined carpet. Sentri stuck with me for over a month to get the carpet replaced with the identical original and to get the vinyl job 100% completed. The carpet was a Home Depot exclusive and Sentri handled everything with them. I will be using Sentri for a much bigger renovation I have coming up soon, because I know that they will make sure everything gets done right no matter what problems come up. The vinyl looks great too."

The name “One man” Freelancing was inspired by my service in the WV national guard where I still currently serve as the “one man” a term given to the cannon crewmember who loads and fires the artillery cannons. "It is a waste of money. The great majority of people are not going to find any value out of the service. If you need design consultation, you need a full service consultation. If you already have knowledge and experience, and you just need to get a few ideas, then you don't need to pay for that. You can just get a magazine or a book since you already have the knowledge of basic designs in your head or a little bit of experience. To have someone call you and give you information over the phone, you are not getting the personal service that you need. You may as well take the money $49 and apply it to something else like getting someone else to come out and give you the service that you need. Because, you are not getting much, you are not getting anything at all. They are going to have you do the work. After talking to them and I was talking to other home designers, I found out that that was a waste of time and waste of money. I gave them a C because they didn't fail at what they do but they don't offer any value for what they do. There's not much value to it. The cost was fair. They didn't do a terrible job and the cost isn't terrible, it was only $49. It just has a very low value. For responsiveness I gave them a B because they will answer your phone and answer your emails."

"Mr. Blankenship and his designer met with us multiple times to help us figure out exactly what we wanted to do and gave us estimates on the cost of all the different options so that we could make knowledgeable decisions that helped us get the very best outcome and stay within our budget.  Mr. Blankenship went out of his way to meet with us when our schedule allowed and was always professional.  They provided us with drawings and detailed contracts outlining exactly what would be done.  Once the work began they worked diligently to finish the projects.  One of my neighbors remarked that they seemed very conscientious and that he wished he had used Alternative Building Concepts on a job he just had done.  Mr. Blankenship even came out several times just to meet with the carpet layers because he wasn't happy with some of the seams.  All the work they did was first rate and we couldn't be happier with the outcome.  Everything Alternative Building Concepts did improved our home and we would not hesitate to use them again.
