"All Service Moving was exceptional. Great customer service - easy to schedule and flexible. Royce & Frost did an AMAZING job moving all of our very heavy and fragile belongings. They handled all of our requests and items with care and worked both efficiently and quickly. They were super friendly and very customer service oriented. I can't thank them enough for the GREAT job they did. I highly recommend All Service Moving for anything moving and/or storage related. And DEFINITELY request Royce & Frost to handle your job. Thank You!"

"We needed repairs made to satisfy the home inspector for the sale of our home. Already having moved -and living thousands of miles away - it's hard to find someone you can trust who will do the job right. Anthony made this such a positive experience; it took SO much stress off our plates and we can't thank him enough for his professionalism, great communication and timely responses."

"Nationwide made my moving experience easy. This is my third time moving cross country. The other two times prior were a disaster. Nationwide Moving really came through. Handle my belongings with care. Very polite crew and stood by their estimate and did not increase my move. I highly recommend."

"We had a major project. Our project was the 1st floor of our three-story townhouse David and Josh were very professional in guiding us through every aspect of completing our full kitchen, bathroom, small living room and craft room. They gave us a detailed written estimate for both the downstairs work plus the beautiful 12' × 16' composite deck. The work began on time and was completed as agreed upon. Dave and Josh cleaned up their workspace and tools every day. They kept us apprised of daily progress. One of our little dogs even developed a close attachment to Josh! My wife and I would definitely recommend GG Handyman & Home Remodeling to other potential clients. Thx!!@ David and Josh."

"...first and foremost, mr gragg is an exceptional person...this was my first time hiring a professional contractor and boy did i hit the jackpot!...i needed a main floor half bath saved (yes, SAVED) in a home i recently purchased...hidden behind the main wall where toilet sat was an aging, damaged sewer line from upstairs...in the process of having that replaced, i became aware of just how much damage had occurred...i had a floor rotted to the point the toilet had sank...i had rotted studs...my walls were original sheetrock with plaster covering it and wire mesh in every corner and they were crumbling from the leak...oh, and the floor joists sloped a half inch...the list goes on and on...i tell you all of this so you can visualize what a daunting task lay ahead!...i don't need to tell you everything mr gragg accomplished to save my half bath, but i will tell you this, i got some new joists, some raised joists (not shimmed for the new floor, new studs with new head and bottom boards, new shored (i think that is the correct word) up edges for new floor, reinforced toilet area, the main wall had all the sheetrock removed and drywall installed, two layers of flooring , then a new waterproof locking vinyl floor and my toilet put back in place...now on to mr gragg's knowledge and skill level: HE KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK!!...need i say more...yes i do, for he is darn near a perfectionist in my book and it shows in the quality of work he puts forth...he gave me options and was straight forward on his recommendations without compromising the intent of the project...on to the cost of this dying bathroom: while i have no prior knowledge of what one considers a "fair" price, i do know this, i got my money's worth!...let's be realistic, we can always get numerous free estimates and base our decision on that or we can accept the fact that we hire a contractor for a reason, we need their expertise and we simply cannot handle the job ourselves...i honestly, truly honestly, believe mr gragg gave me more than what i was expecting at better than expected price...i will never, ever use any other contractor...EVER!!!...finally, you do not want to know how many times i have gone into that bathroom, repeatedly jumped up and down on the floor , just to watch the toilet NOT move"

Moving questions, answered by experts

After moving in Clarksburg, it’s helpful to: check for any damage to walls or floors, reconnect utilities promptly, update your address with local services, and inspect your belongings for moisture or humidity exposure. Consider hiring local pros for furniture assembly or heavy lifting. Exploring nearby storage options and introducing yourself to neighbors can also make settling in smoother and help you feel at home faster.

Helpful?

The success of moving work in Clarksburg relies on local expertise, adaptability to unpredictable weather, and strong relationships with the community. Using vehicles suited for hilly terrain and experienced teams familiar with local neighborhoods helps prevent delays. Consistent communication, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving all contribute to a smooth move and lasting satisfaction with your new home’s setup.

Helpful?

In Clarksburg, moving projects require detailed planning to address both function and aesthetics, especially in historic homes. Movers often use smaller vehicles to navigate narrow streets and steep hills. Protecting original woodwork and delicate features is a priority, so extra padding and careful handling are essential. Thoughtful furniture placement helps maximize limited space, ensuring your new layout is both comfortable and visually appealing from the start.

Helpful?

When hiring moving pros in Clarksburg, prioritize those with experience handling steep driveways, narrow streets, and historic properties. Look for clear communication, transparent estimates, and strong local references. Ask about their approach to protecting delicate features and managing challenging weather. Confirm their availability for your preferred dates and ensure they’re equipped to handle the unique demands of Clarksburg’s neighborhoods.

Helpful?

Moving in WV requires regular upkeep of trucks and equipment due to hilly roads and changing weather. Frequent tire and brake checks are important, and moving gear should be inspected for rust or wear from humidity. For storage, choose climate-controlled options to protect items from moisture. Review your insurance coverage and use protective wraps for sensitive belongings to guard against local environmental risks.
