"LTE was very professional in their attitude and in completing the contracted job. They were quick efficient and cleaned up after themselves. If you didn't miss the tree - you wouldn't know they had been there. I would hire them again if the occasion arose."

"Brooks is a polite professional who knows what he is doing. Had a large maple that needed some major attention - he was able to maintain the integrity of the tree and get it off the deck. Also have a very large crepe myrtle (over 3 stories). I thought I was going to have to have it cut down as it was beginning to damage my gutters. Again he took great efforts to save it. Both look great now. I would highly recommend this young man and will use him again in the future."

Arborists questions, answered by experts

Trees naturally want to grow upward, so one may straighten all by itself, though this only comes into play when a tree is leaning just a small amount. For trees growing into an awkward position or those leaning heavily in one direction, the above steps are necessary to ensure the tree gets back on the right path. This also holds true for trees planted in a spot with unstable soil.

Yes, many services include stump grinding to eliminate tripping hazards and improve aesthetics.

Ideally, you should wait to prune until trees have gone dormant in late fall to early winter. The worst times to prune trees are early fall and late summer, as pruning them so close to dormancy makes it difficult for the tree recover before it goes dormant for the season.

Rock salt or Epsom salt can damage and kill tree roots over several weeks and can even assist in removing the tree's stump. However, you need to drill holes or cut into the stump and surface tree roots to inject them properly with the salt. Repeat the process every two weeks until the roots visibly rot away.

The typical lifespan of a Bradford pear is relatively short, only 15 to 25 years. However, these trees have issues long before their life is over. Due to their soft wood and fast-growing branches, Bradford pear trees often split around 15 years, making them a risk for falling branches and more prone to disease.
