The job turned out to be much tougher than expected—the old cement was nearly impossible to break up and the clay ground was hard to dig deeper for the required dept —but Ken handled it like a pro, using a jackhammer and digging through hard clay soil without complaint. Despite the extra work and materials needed, he stuck to his original price even when I asked to pay him more, which speaks volumes about his integrity. He returned a few days later to assemble the hoop, and the final result was perfect—every measurement was spot-on. Ken went above and beyond, and I wouldn’t hesitate to hire him again. "I hired them a few years ago for a plaster job and it went well so I hired them recently for a plaster and paint job. The 2nd project did not go well..especially for the painting. Overall, the surfaces look cheap- nothing like the first job. I’ve also had to re-paint and clean splatter for at least 20 separate areas. Unfortunately, there are countless areas with bubbles and drips that I cannot fix. :( They also left about 5/6 full gigantic garbage bags in the room. If you want quality work done, I wouldn’t hire. If you want speedy & shoddy work done, then they’re great. He quoted me under 5k when he came to look at it, and it ended up being over 6k plus paint."
