That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. "He had a cancellation and was able to come out the day I called. He verified that we actually didn't have mold growing in the one area. Since that area was connected to an indoor hot tub room, he checked the tub room just to verify that all was ok in there. He gave me some tips on preventing mold in that tub room and informed me about some other areas to watch (as this was in the basement and we have had water get inside with heavy rain) and I asked him about some marks on my basement ceiling. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Will definitely be calling if need for future services."

"We contacted Panda Properties for an estimate on our Basement Remodeling project.  Brian came on a Tuesday evening to look at our space, discuss what we were looking for, and take some measurements.  Overall the discussion went well and we were excited to see what his estimate would be.  We did inform him that he was the third company we had in for an estimate and were looking to start our project soon.  He told us that he would be able to get us an estimate in a couple of days, end of the week at the latest. 
I emailed him the next morning (Wednesday) to thank him and provide him with some information required for the estimate.  He responded that same day thanking me for the information.  The following Monday came and we hadn't heard back from him even though he had said he'd have the estimate by the end of the week, so I e-mailed him that morning asking when he would have the estimate available for our review.  He responded the next day (Tuesday) that he was just putting the finishing touches on the estimate.  Following that e-mail, I did not hear from him again until Sunday, which was now 12 days after the original visit, with the estimate.  All his e-mail said was that he was sorry for the delay and that he had some computer problems.
The estimate itself was actually in line with the others we had received.  And my concern was not with how long the estimate took.  If he would have told me it will take up to two weeks for the estimate, I would have been fine with that.  My concern was that he stated that he could deliver something in a certain time frame, could not deliver in that time frame, and did not communicate well during the process.  It took me contacting him to find out where the estimate was when it was later than discussed.  I was worried that this was indicative of how things would be if we selected him to work on our project, and that was a key reason why we decided not to go with Panda Properties for our project, which is now nearing completion."
