  • Eduardo's Tree Svc
Eduardo came out for an estimate the same day I called. The work was done well and very promptly. The crew meticulously cleaned up the yard. My neighbor was so impressed that he wanted an estimate. I would definitely recommend and use them again.

Kurt did a great job on my project. He responded very quickly to my request for a quote and communicated very well throughout the project. The crew did a great job cleaning up the grass and garden areas during the work and after the stump grinding was complete. Their pricing was very competitive. I would definitely use Kaminski Tree Service again and have already referred them to other people

  • Angel Tree Solutions
Angel Tree Service is an exceptionally well run and efficient business. They took down several trees and cleaned up other trees where the branches had gotten out of control. They gave us a fair estimate for the work explaining how they would proceed with the project. Communication was excellent. They arrived exactly when they said they would, did an excellent job and cleaned up all traces of their being here. If you are looking for a professional tree service with reasonable pricing and efficient service I would highly recommend Angel Tree Service

  • Cantoral Maintenance
It went very well. I received a timely quote and they arrived the following week to complete the work. I had some trees trimmed that were hanging over the garage and house. I would hire again.

We are very happy with the service we received from American Tree Experts. This is our second time using this company and both times we received excellent service. First, Chris and Mitch performed all the tasks safely including the removal of a very large tree. They did excellent pruning of several trees. The trees were quite overgrown and blocking windows and hanging over the roof. They pruned with care and talked to us about the shape of the tree when deciding which branches to prune - taking care not to prune too much and damage the tree. They also looked at some other trees for us and made suggestions for the future. We are looking forward to them coming again

  • J.W. Kolp Tree Service LLC
Better than I could have imagined. When he rang my doorbell he already knew what could be done. The crew arrived, the tree was repaired and trimmed beautifully. Within 2 hours the work was done. They did an excellent job from start to finish. I will recommend their service to everyone.

  • BK Outdoor Services LLC
My job was to remove the stump of a good sized shrub (about a foot wide at the bottom) and a small secondary weed stump that was next to it. Since it wasn't a full tree BK charged their minimum. They did an excellent job grinding both stumps down below the grass level and I was able to easily remove the remaining 1-2 inch wide spreading roots with a pick axe. There was no damage to the nearby concrete patio and the removal area was as small as it could be so I don't need much sod to cover it. I will call them again for future jobs

  • Dorshak Tree Specialist
Dorshak Tree Specialist did a great job at a good price and they are fast. I noticed the damage to my tree at 5:30 a.m. and by 8:30 a.m. they had removed the damaged portion of my tree. I will definitely hire them in the future for some tree removal services since I have some dead trees in my wooded portion of my lot

Tree Service FAQ

  1. How much does it cost to remove a tree?

Answer: Typically, tree removal costs between $200 and $2,000. Tree removal costs vary widely based on the number of trees being removed, the height of each tree, the diameter of each tree trunk, and accessibility to the tree. Smaller trees are usually less expensive to remove than larger ones, as are those that are more easily accessible.

  2. Do you need a permit to cut down a tree?

Answer: In many areas, you don’t need a permit to cut down a tree on your own private, residential property. But some municipalities may require tree removal permits for conservation purposes or to comply with local ordinances. When you hire a tree removal pro, they’ll be able to tell you whether you need a permit for your specific tree removal project.

  3. When is a good time to trim trees?

Answer: In most regions, the best time to trim your trees is during the winter months. During the active growing season (spring through fall), trimming your trees can leave them more vulnerable to disease and less likely to thrive. During the winter months, when trees are dormant, trimming them will cause less stress and leave them ready to grow again in the spring.

  4. What is the average cost to cut a tree down?

Answer: Tree removal costs between $200 and $2,000 per tree. Establishing an average cost can be difficult because each tree will be assessed and priced based on factors like height, trunk diameter, and accessibility. In general, smaller trees cost less to remove than larger trees, as do trees that are more accessible.

  5. How much does it cost to service a tree?

Answer: The cost to service a tree is typically between $430 and $1,320. The cost to service a tree depends on several factors, including what exactly you’d like done, the tree’s height, its health, the location of the tree, and local labor costs. The national average cost for tree services is $865. Tree trimming isn’t necessary for all trees but can improve their health and longevity by encouraging new growth.

  6. What is the difference between tree trimming and pruning?

Answer: While tree trimming and tree pruning might appear similar to the untrained eye, they serve different purposes. Tree pruning is used to thin a tree by removing unnecessary or burdensome branches. Tree trimming promotes healthy growth by trimming but not removing branches.
