DSP came out in the evening to diagnose it, explained my options (spend $1,400 on a repair or just replace the unit). The technician even brought back electric heaters for me to use overnight (it was about 9 pm at that point). They had a furnace in stock and they replaced mine in the next day. It is a year later and everything is working great. They have even come back one time to show me how to properly use my new thermostat.
