"I had somebody years ago to my garage floor it didn’t last and they did not come back out to address the situation. I happen to be driving and saw a Van from White rabbit so I called the number and immediately was put in touch with the owner Gary. We set up an appointment he came out right away and it started off them doing two projects for me. That led me to have them install slat walls in my garage and having custom workbench is made. Everybody from the crew that came out to the people in the office to the owners were excellent to work with. Mudjacking is your best bet for leveling concrete on a tighter budget. It’s less expensive than foam or grout mixture. For smaller, surface-level issues, you could also use a self-leveling compound, which creates an even surface over existing concrete—it’s a budget-friendly option suitable for DIY enthusiasts.

Mudjacking can be an expensive foundation repair process, but in many cases, it’s well worth the investment. This is especially true if you’re lifting a portion of sunken foundation slab back into place. In that case, mudjacking can help avoid major structural damage and even home collapse by restoring the integrity of your structure with minimally invasive procedures. Mudjacking a concrete patio, walkway, or sidewalk can be worthwhile because it removes tripping hazards and makes your outdoor area more aesthetically appealing.

Pros often use mudjacking or polyurethane foam injection to level a sunken concrete patio. Both methods lift the slab by filling voids beneath it. After properly compacting the soil beneath it to prevent future settling, the concrete may need to be removed and re-poured for severe sinking.

Concrete leveling is absolutely worth it if you have sunken concrete slabs and want to restore them to level, especially if the slab is part of your home foundation. Concrete leveling is less than half the price of replacing concrete sidewalks, patios, walkways, and pool decks, and it’s about a quarter of the cost of replacing a foundation. If you also treat the underlying problem, it can be a worthwhile and permanent solution.

It’s possible to rent the equipment necessary to do your own mudjacking, but we don’t recommend it. Mudjacking involves pumping a precise amount of cementitious slurry under your slab to lift it back into place and keep it there. It’s easy to pump too much or not enough, in which case you may need to call in a professional to help anyway. We strongly recommend against mudjacking any load-bearing slab, as you could easily cause irreversible structural damage to your property if you make a mistake. This is one job where paying for a professional is worthwhile.
