"The technicians that did the actual work did a great job but the tech that did the paperwork and his supervisor whose names are both Tyler are very dishonest. I would not recommend this company to anyone. First off they tried to charge me $17,000 for a furnace and water heater and the removal of a second basement furnace which included the duct work and duct cleaning. When I asked about the cost being so high and I had an estimate from another company for $7417 for an efficiency furnace which included the duct work the supervisor Tyler tried to make it an issue of me having the money to pay. No the issue is why are you charging double what another company is charging. So I took the removal of the second furnace off the estimate and the price dropped to rounded off to $11,000. So I went with this company for the installation of the furnace and water heater. When I called today to let them know my kitchen duct had not been cleaned, which was full of garbage due to no vent cap being on I"

FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Bay Area services was the only vendor that had and would talk price at the show. Within 3 weeks of the initial meeting we had our new AC at the best price. And we shopped around a lot. Mike never tried to sell us something we didn't need and was great to work with. The tech that installed the unit did a great job and didn't leave a mess. Haven't had a chance to really use the unit yet since it's still heating season but was assured once the cooling season starts if there is any issues that they would take care of it.
