"Beware of shipping issues with this company. Ordered an ice maker installation kit on 10/10/25. Shipping was due no later than 10/20 according to company and FedEx tracking. FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. There was a deadline for installing this part before tenants arrive. They did not care, would not m"

"From working with Mike to the having the install, the process was beyond my expectations. Met the salesperson Mike at the GB home and lifestyle show. Bay Area services was the only vendor that had and would talk price at the show. Within 3 weeks of the initial meeting we had our new AC at the best price. And we shopped around a lot. Mike never tried to sell us something we didn't need and was great to work with. The tech that installed the unit did a great job and didn't leave a mess. Haven't had a chance to really use the unit yet since it's still heating season but was assured once the cooling season starts if there is any issues that they would take care of it. Will probably switch to them for all of our hearing and cooling needs."

Counter tops were ordered and delivered 6 days later, installers were GREAT, Rodrigo and partner were on time promised, very professional, friendly, quick, cleaned up after, would not even know they were there, except for my new counter tops. "I had an amazing experience with Northstar Restoration. I can say it started from my first contact speaking with their receptionist, then the owner and his wonderful staff. I purchase a new built property which was not cleaned properly, the place was left with dust particles mainly in unfinished basement which spread throughout the whole house. In addition, subcontractors did not use properly coverings so garage floor as well as carpets were impacted. The owner Jay came out and explained how they could help alleviate the issues we faced. He was very thorough in his assessment and presented the options. We ended up getting our garage concrete floor cleaned, basement concrete cleaned and all mechanicals wiped downed and heap vacuum, air ducts cleaned and carpet cleaned. This was a huge project split into 3 days. All of the his technicians were extremely knowledgable and thorough. Because the project was 3 days and different areas I had 6 different technicians they were ALL outstanding. I commend Jay and all of his staff for making this a wonderful experience I could not be more pleased with the outcome. And would not hesitate to use their services in the future if I had a need."

"This is the first online review I've ever written -- my experience with this company was that bad. Three aspects that deserve attention: 1) I placed an order and tried to cancel six minutes later. Turns out they don't accept cancellations. 2) I couldn't find a phone number, so I had to work the return/refund by email. The exchange was painful -- so unhelpful I felt like I was interacting with a bad chatbot. 3) I ended up eating shipping costs (expected) and got hit for a 50% restocking fee (unexpected) because I refused the package instead of paying to ship it back. Didn't matter that it went to the correct address, was clearly labeled, and had prior return authorization. So I ended up with a $21 refund on a $60 order, and a lesson learned about where not to buy appliance parts."

"It was excellent. All work was done properly. There were no long pause. He came when he said he was going to. There was a wood work that he did that we don't like and he redid it. His estimates were lower than the actual final cost. The reason why the estimate were low, some parts of the job changed after they were made."
