*** I have recently added the Nashville area to my service coverage. Since I can do most of my services remotely with you over the phone, I am hoping to eventually open up to larger markets and help people from having to take their computer in to get it fixed, if it has internet access, I can usually fix it over the Internet. Just trying to do more to help my Angies List customers!!******** I am a sole proprietor that works out of my home. I am my only employee, but I have over 20 years experience fixing computers, and providing superior customer service. I work on a flat rate service, and don't charge by the hour because I feel it's important to educate the customer on what the issue is/was, and how to avoid it in the future. I feel that local service companies (my competition) have been overcharging customers for years. I offer a first time customer discount of 10% but I will offer 15% off for first time customers referred by Angies List. I've lived in the Huntsville area most all my life, so I know the area very well. I will never use a subcontractor as I am very picky about making sure that if my name and company is associated with something, it will be the best experience my customer has ever had, and using sub contractors won't ensure that, so I prefer to do all the work myself. Lastly, I should point out that I am a former offensive lineman for the University of Southern Mississippi and was Brett Favre's center his freshman year at Southern. I went on to play for Tom Landry in his last year, but gave up pro football early on to pursue my passion of fixing computers. If I didn't have bills to pay, I would do this for free because I love it! If you have a computer problem, I promise you that you couldn't find a better technician that will care about you as a customer, and not about the bottom line. I am always available, but don't always answer my phone, but if you leave a message, I promise to back with you as soon as possible...and figure out how to get your issue resolved in a quick, efficient and economical manner. "Showed up on time with a very professional team set up in a timely manner, explained the cleaning process through out the entire time that they were on the jobsite. Masked and taped off and blocked off the areas that needed to be. Removed the compromised materials set up drying fans, dehumidifiers came in with the testers even before to get moisture levels, and mold counts. They are courteous and professional and use all the right poeple."

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."

"Brian is a great guy and one of the best contractors I have ever hired. I own two old houses, so that is saying a lot! He is honest, knowledgeable, offers alternatives, is willing to explain everything and answer questions, and was cheaper than every other HVAC firm I contracted. I had great difficulty finding anyone who would listen to my concerns and find solutions for system, and was living in fear of the next expensive boiler failure. By a long shot, Brian was the most detailed in answering my questions and explaining his proposed solutions. Super nice guy too. I have never had such great customer service. He was the only one who took the trouble to measure my existing heat needs, plus he offered two alternatives (high efficiency and conventional) and estimates. I decided to go high-efficiency, and he then refined his plan, and even met with the suppliers representative at my home to remeasure, discuss the configuration, and make sure the new boiler would be covered by the warranty. Boilers are not cheap, so that was much appreciated! Once installation day came, he was willing to adjust as we discovered additional issues and was committed to staying until the job was done. Old houses can be a real pain, and this one threw a few curve balls his way, but he was always cheerful and the final result is so worth it. It is truly a work of art; I feel like I need to give people tours to see how beautiful and easy to maintain it is. Despite living farther away than my previous HVAC contractor, he charges 1/3 less on annual service and any service calls as well. Win-Win on all counts."
