Small jobs welcome

"Joel gave us a fair estimate. Joel and his two-man worked around the gas line into the house which caused them to manually dig a footing. The crew worked well and hard to get our project done quickly. We received many compliments on our new entrance."

"Jayden and his crew did a fantastic job removing old poles (at least 10 poles, some 10-15+ foot in height and required extensive digging) and also removing dead trees along with hauling all of the debris away. I highly recommend Jay’s Lawn and Lanscape as they are professional, reliable and amazing at what they do!"

"The team was great, but what I really enjoyed was the contractor.  He was happy to talk specifics on how the project would be accomplished, and helped me pick elements I could do myself to save money (for example, my starting on demo, and also saving on haul-away costs by leveraging the city's large-item pickup).  He even talked through how I could lay the pavers down myself on their foundation, had I decided to do that.  He also split the project into two separate bids (one for the pavers, and one for the eventual stone steps from the street to meet the path), which helped make this affordable, and something we could accomplish sooner.
My only disappointment was that I wasn't specific enough when I told the team to remove old fence posts.  I pointed to one (of two), and they removed that one, but ultimately left the job with a second post sticking up in my new flower bed next to the pathway.  I'll probably either just cut it off at the base (since it's cemented in), or have them remove it in the second bid.  So my advice is to be as specific as possible about what you want, even if you feel like you're being a little obnoxious, because they'll give you exactly what you ask for.

Trampoline Assembly questions, answered by experts

If you want to know from the outset how much you’re likely to pay to install an outdoor basketball court, create a budget breakdown that lists the following expenses:

  • Labor: How many work hours will you need, and what is the average price of labor in your area?

  • Materials: What material do you plan to use, and what is the average price per square foot?

  • Drainage, grading, and laying cement slabs: Do you need to level or prep your area? Have a professional evaluate your property to determine what you will need to pay a contractor to do this work.

  • Hoops, lighting, fencing, painting lines, and other extras: What extras are non-negotiable? Create a list of all of the extras you want your court to have.

Children can become interested in playset activities as young as two years old, and many start to lose interest between ages nine and 12. Backyard playsets can grow and adapt as the children age and playtime interests change.

Inspect regularly for wear, tighten bolts, and clean surfaces to ensure safety and longevity.

The cost of the materials to build a DIY playground will run you about $700 to $1,000, which could vary based on the type of lumber you choose to use. On the other hand, buying a pre-made playset costs $1,000 to $6,500 or more, and if you choose to have it professionally installed, you’ll pay an additional $330 to $700.

Whether an in-ground or a portable basketball hoop is better depends on the available space and its usage. For hoops that will experience frequent play, an in-ground basketball goal will be a more durable option. On the other hand, a portable basketball hoop can be the better option for smaller spaces that can’t have a permanent hoop installed.
