St. Croix Carpentry took the time to understand what we wanted to accomplish in finishing our basement. They took our walkout basement from semi-finished to an additional floor of living for our family. We were delighted with the quality of the final project. We will connect with SCC for any future remodeling needs.

Tim met me at the house on his way to another job. He inspected the roof and got into the attic through a knee-wall and was able to ascertain that there had been no new leaking. Let me add that he did this inspection in the rain after a very short notice from me. The problem was with the ceiling paint, not the roof. His inspection was thorough and his judgment clear and honest. I will definitely call Tim for future remodeling, roofing and carpentry needs.

Tim could not be more professional.  Touch to get someone to come out for a roof leak.  He was prompt to come out for the quote, did a great job communicating and showed up on time and did a great job.  We will use Tim in the future and highly recommend him.

St. Croix Carpentry performed excellent work that exceeded my expectations. I chose them based on the great job they did repairing my roof, siding and gutters from hail damage, and because of their extensive remodeling experience. Owner Tim Jozefow visited my home several times to provide cost estimates for multiple projects. Actual charges came in within his estimates. He accommodated my schedule whenever possible. Tim is an excellent communicator via phone, email and text. They take obvious pride in the quality of their work, which is evident in the craftsmanship. I'm very pleased with them and will use them again and have recommended them to friends.

After a hail storm damaged my home's vinyl siding I contacted an A-rated roofing company from Angie's List to inspect my roof for damage. They were backlogged but recommended I contact St. Croix Carpentry, a respected remodeler who they were referring roofing work to. I spoke to St. Croix owner Tim Jozefow who is professional, knowledgeable and easy to work with. After his inspection Tim explained the damage and his estimate. His experience and advice was especially helpful during negotiations with my insurance company who initially agreed to pay only about half the amount of my claim. Tim provided documentation, defended assumptions in his estimate and spoke via phone and email with representatives from my insurance company on several occasions over months of negotiations until we successfully received the full amount of the claim. I suspect many roofing companies in similar situations don't fight for their customers when they receive a lowball insurance payout. Rather they complete the work as cheap and as fast as possible and move on to the next job. St. Croix Carpentry completed the repairs to my roof, siding and gutters and accommodated my schedule. I think of Tim Jozefow not only as a skilled craftsman but a trusted advocate. St. Croix Carpentry exceeded my expectations and I plan to hire them again for other home repair and remodeling projects.

Tim, the owner, was courteous and helpful when providing a bid. The work was done in one day. The shingles were stripped and the new shingles put on. All hoods were replaced and they removed and reattached my internet antenna. There was no damage to my yard or landscaping. Everything was cleaned thoroughly. I would highly recommend time as he is honest, helpful and professional!
