"Customer service was top notch- we started with a 4 acre wooded lot and we had started clearing it ourselves and had many stumps and some more trees to take down. They gave an estimate via photos and email since job site was over an hour away which worked great. Worked til job was finished and did so in a timely manner. We also added clearing a new driveway after the fact and did amazing job. Great communication - would definitely hire again and give referral. Photos are Before and afters. "

Whether you're manually watering your lawn with a hose or using an irrigation system, it's always best to water the grass in the morning. It may not seem like it makes a difference, but nighttime is colder and winds are likely to be stronger. Watering is also important, so be sure to water it enough to keep the soil moist.

Every lawn is different, but mowing at least once a week is a good goal to stick to. If you’re seeing a lot of rain, or if you’re fertilizing your grass, you may need to mow as often as every four days. Either way, always follow the one-third rule: Never mow more than one-third of your grass height at once, as this can weaken it and prevent it from taking in all the proper nutrients from the soil.

When you’re ready to edge your lawn, mowing your grass first is better. By mowing it, you’ll know whether you’ll need to trim it more along the edges later. If you edge your lawn first, it can result in bare patches, giving it an inconsistent finish. Plus, mowing first really diminishes the look of a freshly edged lawn.

You can leave grass clippings on the lawn, depending on their length. You don’t want to completely cover new grass and block it from sunlight, or encourage moss crowd out the more delicate grass. However, short clippings are usually fine to leave on the lawn. In some cases, they can be beneficial: Clippings can be a source of fertilizer and help protect the ground as young grass blades develop.
