Zack answered my call right away, was here that morning and worked at one point through a torrential downpour to get the tree cut and cleared. Then was respectful enough to wait a few hours to remove the biggest tree stump parts so he wouldn't tear up my yard after the rainfall. Can't say enough good things about the job he did. Price was reasonable for an emergency Sunday job. I would definitely recommend him."

We have three large white cedar trees that are planted too close together and adjacent to power lines. They had never been trimmed (except the tops by WPS) and are over 40 years old. Nature had started reclaiming the space around and under these trees. Ray was able to trim them to shape, remove all of the dead branches and clean up the bottom, he removed all of the debris for no extra charge. He also cut down a large buckthorn and removed a ton of weeds and other invasive plants and a bonus dead lilac. Ray is a great guy to work with, he’s polite, and involves you in the decision making process. He also made sure to blow out and clean up afterwards. I would definitely have him come back. I’m happy and my neighbors are happy too. "

As a result, stains do a better job of protecting the wood from UV damage and rot and last significantly longer. Use a near-translucent stain that won’t alter the cedar’s natural color for the best results.
Pressure-treated wood can not only be painted and stained, but it should be; doing so will help to prevent surface or deck board cracking. Allow the wood to dry out before painting it, as pressure-treated wood from the hardware store takes longer to dry than kiln-dried lumber. If water beads on the surface, it needs additional time to dry—in fact, it can take weeks or even months to fully dry. As soon as the wood absorbs water on the surface, it is ready to be painted or stained.
You should avoid staining your fence during hot weather or when it’s raining, because heat and moisture can make the stain dry unevenly. Instead, the best time to stain a fence is when the weather is dry and temperatures are between 50 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Typically, spring and fall are the best seasons for a fence-staining project.
Adding a second coat of stain to wood can even out the color to some extent, but it won't drastically alter the hue if the initial application is too light or too dark. It's more effective at enhancing the richness of the color rather than significantly changing it. Ensure the first coat is dry before applying the second.
Wood stain is not flammable after it dries. The solvent in wood stain is what causes the liquid form to be highly flammable, but the stain drying process involves the solvents dissolving, which leaves behind a non-flammable product on your wood project. Wood stain is, however, flammable before you apply it, so you should always store partially full cans and used wood stain rags away from sources of heat and open flames.
