Schwallers Painting & Staining is committed to the highest quality interior and exterior painting and staining, outstanding service and complete customer satisfaction. We use the proper techniques, steps, and materials to complete projects, while maintaining a clean worksite and respecting our clients and their property. We are your environmentally responsible “green” painter, using low and zero VOC paints and finishes, and properly recycling paint cans and paper products.

"Schwallers Painting & Staining provides long-lasting, high quality painting and staining services using professional grade products. The issue this homeowner experienced is called intercoat adhesion failure. A prior coat of paint on his deck failed under the surface tension caused by the new paint application. This issue is very rare and there is no way to predict it. Our staff sanded and cleaned the deck surface, and applied the new paint exactly as specified by the manufacturer, Sherwin Williams. When the homeowner contacted us in May we noted 4 or 5 chips in the paint, which we offered to remove and touch up without charge. The homeowner asserted that we should have recommended stripping the deck to bare wood before painting. This would not have been a standard recommendation for any painter, and would have tripled the cost, which the homeowner admitted he would not have agreed to. Complete customer satisfaction on every project is our goal. We regret that the homeowner is unhappy but we believe we offered a reasonable remedy at no cost to the homeowner, for an issue that was not our fault."
