We specialize in custom matting, mounting and framing all kinds of art and heirlooms from inexpensive posters to original works or fine art prints to old family photos. Shadowboxes are also created to hold sporting jerseys, vinyl records, medals, pennants and even violins. Gregory, the owner, has been custom framing since 1990. Stacy, the store manager, has been custom framing since 2009. We use only preservation materials such as cotton matting and ultra-violet filtering glass. Many of the frames are made here in Wisconsin and the matting is manufactured in the United States. Because every piece is created by hand, we ask for at least 2 weeks to complete each order. We can rush framing jobs for special occasions in a few days and possibly the same day if we have the materials on hand. Our prices are competitive and you won't find people who care more about the work they do anywhere else. We take great pride in the relationships we have with our customers. No appointment needed, come visit us any time!

"Very well. Always a bit expensive but worth it for archival and quality work."

Metal Fabrication and Restoration questions, answered by experts

Your typical household tools will not cut a metal pipe. To cut a metal pipe, you’d need more specialized tools like a pipe cutter or circular saw. Do not attempt to use these tools without taking proper safety precautions and wearing safety gear. It’s usually safer to let a pro cut a metal pipe, especially if you’re not confident in your skills with a heavy-duty saw.

Steel, aluminum, and galvanized metal prove popular due to their strength, adaptability, and longevity in variable climates.

Costs depend on material type, labor, design complexity, finishing requirements, and installation needs.

DIY is possible with prefabricated kits. Professional services ensure proper anchoring and durability.

Yes, you can use a saw to cut metal pipes. The best saw to use is a reciprocating saw, but even a fine-tooth hacksaw can get the job done. No matter which saw you use to cut metal pipes, wear protective gear, like work gloves, safety goggles, and ear plugs. Apply a firm, steady pressure to the tool, and always ensure the pipes are secured so they don't move while you make the cuts.
