We hired him to complete our dream master bathroom remodel, as well as remodeling our laundry room. All I can say is-HIRE HIM. Our project went above and beyond our expectations and we are so happy with the outcome. Our project was a large one-including knocking down walls, re-configuring the master bath and laundry room, and installation of a CUSTOM tiled walk in shower. I worked closely with Patrick in picking out every single item, which also allowed me to learn some tricks and skills along the way too. Patrick is one of the nicest humans I've had the pleasure to meet and I would hire him again in a second."

We utilize using the same employees and subs on all projects, giving everybody who hires us the same quality team. We specialize in Interior Remodels –Kitchens, Bathrooms, Basements, etc. In warmer months we also provide custom decks, window, door, and patio door replacements. Along with quality exterior paint and/or stain jobs. We provide the finest custom built cabinets –Amish made, plywood construction on boxes (No particle board). With European slow close hinges, dovetailed drawer boxes, and soft close drawer glides. Cabinets have a very high quality clear coat. Stain and/or paint are available upon request. Common cabinet hardwoods we provide include but are not limited to: Cherry, Maple, Hickory, Rustic Hickory, Walnut, Oak, Birch, and Alder. Genesis is Madison's largest painting company. We Color Your World! Earning the Angies list super service award winner numerous years. All work comes with a 3 year 100% Warranty. We don't collect any down payment and payment is due after your final inspection and walk through. All major credit cards are accepted or use our no payment no interest option. You work with a full time estimator/project manager assigned to your account, and we also have two full time customer service reps available at all times in case you need a quick contact during the job. I addition to our A rating here on Angie's list (see super service award) we have also an A+ rating with the better business bureau. Our employees our career painters, paid by the hour so they can take the time needed to do the job right, the first time.

"We hired Genesis to paint the first floor of our home. Built in 1928, our home's walls are plaster and had many cracks and areas of peeling paint, not to mention several details like window frames, trim and picture railing. Genesis did a fantastic job with the painting, and our house looked like a different home when we returned after the work was finished. We were gone while the crew was painting, so I can't speak to how they behave while doing the job, but they left our house better than they found it as far as I can tell. We also really appreciated that free color consultation, and love the colors Laura helped my wife pick out. The reason I don't think I would hire them again is because of the price-they were far and away the most expensive choice by several thousands of dollars from the 4 quotes we received. We ended up going with them because we were afraid that the other painters wouldn't do as good a job, but now that we have had another excellent but not nearly as expensive painter in the house (Megna), I feel kind of silly for paying as much we did to Genesis. It was also difficult to get a hold of the guy who did the initial estimate (Jeff) once we had signed the contract, and it kind of made me feel that once they had our signatures on that contract, our satisfaction with understanding the process and being involved was a low priority. Overall, excellent workmanship, but extraordinarily expensive, and mediocre customer service."

"Washa Remodeling saved us from the fiasco created by the first company we hired to put a bathroom in the basement bedroom and redo the bedroom itself. The previous company had started a year and a half earlier by putting up framing with a bathroom floor plan that did not meet city codes. They never finished and we had to go to small claims to get our money back. Adam from Washa gave us a quote that was higher than the one we had, but, obviously, it was necessary to do the job correctly. Steve Wineland, the site manager, is tops in the trade. We have had a lot of construction work at our home and our business and Steve is the best. The subcontractors were also outstanding. The flooring was delayed in arriving due to covid, but that was the only problem. The room and bathroom look amazing. We are going to start our next project very soon of remodeling our existing bathroom configuration on the first floor. I would recommend Washa for any project even if their price is somewhat higher because they are professionals, and, you get what you pay for."
