"It went very well. They were efficient and came prepared to complete the work we needed done. We love our new fan...its so quiet and does a great job removing the moisture out of the air. The toilet they fixed was an after thought but they ran and got the needed parts and fixed it right away. Im thankful your site lead us to H&S! I will be calling them again when we need help with a repair."

"Couldn't have been more pleased!  Very professional and got right to it.  The Wall Switch that was removed, you never would have known there was one there, excellent job. The Ceiling repair, was our biggest concern, done wonderfully.  Very Happy with the outcome of this Project.... Might even have him come back to do some other Projects in the Future.  He's quite the HandyMan!!!Would definitely recommend Alan and his sidekick Geno to anyone!!! """FANTABULOUS""""

"Elliot did a fantastic job on a bathroom remodel, kitchen ‘freshen’ (new flooring, painting cabinets, new pulls, and new sink & faucet), as well as pulled carpeting in a room and brought the existing hardwood ‘back to life’. Lynchpin does high quality, dependable work and I will certainly hire again!"

"Andy and his son are the most dedicated and hard-working professionals that I have ever worked with! I would HIGHLY recommend Andy's Garage Door & Handyman Service to anyone needing a garage door install. Andy worked with me, as I needed a specific date and time for the installation ~ an afternoon start time. Due to unforeseen circumstances (a rotten header that needed to be replaced before the door could be installed), the job took longer than anticipated. Andy purchased the needed materials and stayed on the job until almost 10:00pm on a Friday night! What dedication! The door is now beautiful and runs smoothly!"

"Cain and his crew came and did a great job mounting my TV above my fireplace and installing an electrical outlet. They were fast and easy to work with. They answered all my questions and made sure everything was working before they left. I would definitely recommend!"

"The furnace took 4 days to get approved( not counting a Sunday) the others were quick but the water heater had to be ordered so without hot water for a week. One ceiling fan was easy but within a year their policy changed and They would not install the one I purchased and had to get a new one approved and then ordered online and took several weeks to get straightened out. Not sure who was at fault, AHS, installer or scheduling with renter. Fee is usually $75 per visit"

Bathroom Fan Installation questions, answered by experts

Duct fans in HVAC systems last an average of 15 to 20 years. Because these fans operate in relatively controlled environments, they can maintain their efficiency for a long period of time. To maximize the lifespan of your duct booster fan, have your HVAC system maintained regularly.

The most efficient ceiling fan height is 8 to 9 feet from the floor to the fan blades. For ceilings higher than 9 feet, a downrod can be used to lower the fan to the optimal height. This positioning ensures adequate air circulation and maximizes the cooling effect. Remember, fans should be installed at least 7 feet above the floor for safety.

There are many types of ceiling fans, each with specific features and advantages. Standard ceiling fans are a traditional choice suitable for most spaces and can be made from materials like plastic, wood, metal, or fiberboard. For rooms with low ceilings, low-profile fans are a better fit. Other specialized types include smart fans, which you can control with a smartphone or voice commands, and dual-motor fans that provide increased airflow in multiple directions. For energy savings, Energy-Star certified fans can be up to 60% more efficient than standard models, helping to lower your utility bill. You can also find fans with built-in lights, fans with retractable blades, and large ceiling fans designed for spacious rooms with ceilings between 10 and 25 feet high.

Yes, you can run an attic fan with the AC on. In fact, you don’t have a choice with a passive attic fan. Plus, when an attic fan draws out hot air from the attic, it helps regulate the temperature of your whole home, so your AC doesn't have to work as hard.

Yes, you can oil an electric fan with machine or motor oil but don’t use cooking oil because it can become thick or seize up, damaging the fan. Before oiling your fan, turn it off and remove any dust and debris. Wipe away any excess lubricant after oiling.
