Superior Carpet Cleaning is located in River Falls, WI, just 20 minutes east of the St Paul/Minneapolis, MN metro area, specializing in carpet and furniture cleaning, detailing motor vehicles and stripping and waxing linoleum type floors. SCC provides quality work, and extraordinary customer service at the best value. SCC is owned and operated by Tom Vogler and was started in 2005. With over 1600 cleaning jobs completed by himself, including residential, commercial and apartments, he has no employees and does not sub contract any of the work out. Furniture moved at NO extra cost! Please call ahead if you would like assistance figuring square footage to receive best service.

"Tom and Superior Carpet Cleaning did a great job with our basement and stairs. Communication was timely, expectations clear and pricing was reasonable. The space hadn't been cleaned for a number of years and he was able to remove the grime and moved furniture as needed. I've seen the comments on not using steam...but we didn't have any issues and there's a plus in not having hoses run through an open door for hours."

"They arrived promptly to provide a quote. Clean-up was done on schedule; they arrived with 2 workers and a foreman. Ceiling was cleaned in about 2 hours, and they also brightened the grout on the kitchen back splash by the stove. Crew cleaned up after themselves and I couldn't even tell they were there. Painters were expected the next day, but didn't show. The owner was very apologetic on the phone (painters weren't responding to her), and found an alternate crew to come out the next morning. We were hosting a party with many out-of-towners that weekend, so timing was critical. Crew came out first thing Thursday morning. They primed and painted the ceiling, molding and a lot of the wall too so the kitchen looked great! They used low VOC paint per our request, and did a great job cleaning up after themselves. In the end, I was very pleased with the final result."

The formula for neutralizing skunk smell is one quart of 3% hydrogen peroxide, ¼ cup baking soda, and one to two teaspoons of dish soap. The University of Nebraska says a chemist discovered that this mixture changes the thiols, the chemical compound that causes the odor, into acids that don’t carry a skunk smell, thus eliminating the odor.

Baking soda is an easy and effective way to deodorize an area rug. For minor odors, sprinkle some baking soda over the rug, brush it in gently with your hand or a microfiber cloth, and let it sit for an hour before vacuuming it out. For persistent odors, mix 1 cup of baking soda with 4 cups of water and spray it evenly over your rug. Let the mixture dry, and then vacuum the rug thoroughly. You can also use a commercial rug deodorizer, but make sure you match the product to your rug material to avoid damage.
