"Scott is very professional and good at what he does. Our yard used to be pitched towards our house so would get rainwater in our basement during storms. He was able to fix this by working on our yard as well as giving us a new sidewalk. We have no more flooding. Our house was built in the 1960 and the front steps needed repair. He fixed this and made it much nicer to look at. He added a concrete pad on the side of our garage, so we have a to place to park our trailer. He made a beautiful stamped concrete patio in our backyard. 2 years after doing original work he started doing a project for our neighbors and he offered to reseal our concrete patio. He is good about deadlines as well. Without a doubt he goes above and beyond. Originally, we were planning to get a professionally done paved patio. We had a new concrete sidewalk, front step refinished, concrete pad driveway extension, stamped concrete patio, and he leveled our yard for cheaper than what we were quoted for a paved patio. 10/10 I would highly recommend."
"Jose came to quote me a price and ask exactly what I wanted done. We walked the property and I explained what I wanted done and was given an excellent quote. We then spoke about snow removal for the winter and again I was given an excellent quote. I hired Artscapes and LawnMaintenance for the rest of the lawn season and throughout the winter. I will take it from there but completely feel they will be with me for many years to come. Jose is a very nice man and dealing with him was very easy. I like him very much!"
"We were out of town and they came to our front yard did the job and when we returned the stump was gone, hole filled and grass planted. Gabes is good business to hire!"
"Mike and Tyler did multiple concrete pours for me this summer including a slab for a new garage. Very happy with the work they did and will be having them do more in the future"
"The owner/tree cutting man was great! He was very pleasent and an expert at what he does. He kept informed before, during and after the project was completed. I had three very tall trees to be cut down and a very tight space to make them land. He was unbelievable. He cleaned everything up very well. I will be hiring him for my next trees to come down. Thank you"

"Kenny was very busy and hard to schedule an install, but well worth the wait. Once the job was scheduled, he showed up exactly the time he said, did a quality job and charged the price he quoted. We are very pleased with the job. It was fantastic. I only went by reviews I saw on this site. I did not have prior knowledge. so happy I went with him."

In WI, base preparation is the most critical stage. The state’s severe freeze-thaw cycles and clay-rich soils demand a thick, well-compacted aggregate base to prevent frost heaving and cracking. Shortcuts in grading can cause dangerous ice patches, while applying hot mix asphalt below 50°F during the short paving season will compromise its durability, leading to premature failure and costly repairs.

Your Appleton home is a strong candidate for asphalt paving if the property has good natural drainage away from the foundation and lacks significant tree root interference. It is also important to have adequate space for equipment, typically a clearance of 12 feet or more. The project should be planned during the ideal May-to-September paving window for best results in the local climate.
