"Buyer be ware. Give you a "20 yr warranty" and then either hang up on you or won't return your call 3 days after Poor quality installation. I have tried repeatedly to reach out to Jimmy and Kevin. These guys are apparently running a scam. They advertise "Mohawk flooring", boxes they come in don't say "made in USA" or "Mohawk". I will have to resort to litigation to recoup my $. . UPDATE! Removing a glued-down carpet will be harder compared to other methods of installation.

While it’s possible to install carpet yourself, it’s best to hire a local carpet installer to ensure it’s done correctly and safely. Before installing carpet yourself, check whether the manufacturer’s warranty will remain intact. Many manufacturer’s warranties won’t cover the cost of materials under the warranty if it wasn’t installed by a pro. If you don’t want to buy or rent a stretcher, it may be worth it to skip the DIY and leave this job to the pros or risk shortening the life of your new carpet by installing it without a stretcher.
