"Cabbros Cleaning is one of the best companies we have hired. They take a lot of pride in the work they do and it shows everyweek. We are a state government agency and our staff work in construction, so they do not occupy space in a clean manner based on their weekly activities and Cabbros is always making us sparkle. They are so kind and friendly, prompt, and I am so thankful we found them. Best we have ever had!!"

"Tyler and Robby from Wonderland Cleaners have been cleaning for me for about 4 months, and I couldn't be happier. They communicate with me about their arrival time and both have a great attitude while they are in my home cleaning. They are attentive to my requests and continually check in to make sure that the job is being done to my satisfaction. Tyler begins each cleaning with a check in on the last service, and I seldom have any comment other than, "It was a great job!" If you are looking for a cleaning crew to take care of your home or office, you should give this company a try. They really are great!"

Cleaning questions, answered by experts

The time it takes to complete a move-out cleaning depends on the size of your home and its current condition. However, a four-person cleaning crew can usually clean a 1,000-square foot space in one hour. If you tackle this project yourself, it might take multiple days to complete, depending on your home size and needs.

To clean a trash can with maggots, combine chlorine bleach and hot water in a 1-to-1 ratio and pour about half a gallon of the solution into the bottom of your garbage can. Just make sure there aren’t holes in the can before doing so. Close the lid, and let the fumes go to work to kill the maggots. Rinse the can with a hose outside. Consider finishing up with a bleach disinfectant and a scrub brush before letting the can dry completely. You can also consider hiring an exterminator near you for a quick, easy solution to maggots in your garbage cans.

You can clean the glass on the oven door while the door remains attached to the appliance, but it’s a more awkward process than cleaning the glass after removing the door. If you choose to clean the door while leaving it attached, be careful not to lean on it with your body weight, or you could damage the hinges.

Acrylic tubs are easy to clean with simple items you already have around the house. You can use dish soap, hydrogen peroxide, cream of tartar, or borax to clean an acrylic bathtub. Avoid mixing any household cleaners, including common ingredients like vinegar and bleach, as this can create toxic fumes. It’s also best to start with a spot test of any cleaners you use.

You can remove stubborn stains from your toilet by scrubbing with a store-bought cleaner appropriate for the toilet’s material. If you’re looking for a homemade solution, you can also use vinegar and baking soda—just pour 2 cups of white vinegar around the edges of your toilet. Once the bowl is wet with vinegar, sprinkle 3 tablespoons of baking soda, concentrating on the stains. Scrub the bowl with a toilet brush and flush to clean the mixture.

Just a note: While combining baking soda and vinegar is OK, never mix that solution with any other cleaners.
