"Our 20 yr old north facing, 90 ft long cedar fence needed 16 bracing posts because a snow storm and a recent strong wind had weakened the original posts. After installing the new solid cedar posts, the area cleared of excess soil and empty cement bags, the small red lava rock was repositioned around the new posts. Everything was accomplished to our satisfaction by the professional, hard-working, pleasant employees. Now our fence should not fall over into our neighbor's backyard access roadway!"

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can use food coloring to find a pool leak. Alternatively, you can use pool detection dyes that are nontoxic and biodegradable. Depending on how much food dye you have on hand, it may be more cost-effective to use pool dyes.

The dye test is one of the best swimming pool leak detection tools because the dyes are heavier than water. By observing where the dye gets sucked in, you can find the location of your leak.

The best temperature to paint a pool deck is between 50 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit, because many paints and sealers require temperatures warm enough for the chemical reaction to take place for proper curing. The paint should not be allowed to freeze, and temperatures above 90 degrees can cause the paint to dry too quickly, also preventing the chemical reaction from following through to completion.

These pools are cost-effective, customizable, and offer smooth, non-abrasive surfaces.

It is possible to install an above-ground pool yourself in about six hours, provided your yard isn't too sloped or you don't have many trees. It's imperative to ensure your ground is level; otherwise, your pool could collapse. Contact a swimming pool installer for an in-ground pool installation or to ensure your above-ground pool is installed correctly.

Yes, you can put too much shock in a pool, and it is crucial to follow the directions on the product you are using. Adding excess shock can upset the chemical balance, make the water cloudy, have adverse effects on swimmers, damage pool equipment or surfaces, and even encourage certain types of algae to grow. If you have over-shocked your pool, perform a water test and adjust the chemicals as necessary. The pool's chemical balance will eventually return to normal as the excess chlorine dissipates over time.
