"Brock was great to work with. He was communicative throughout the project and kept me updated on progress each day. He did a great job replacing all of my interior window casings, and everything looks great. I'd definitely hire Brock again."

"We had a shower water leak that caused water damage to a downstairs bedroom. Jeff, the Handy Daddy did a great job. We decided to upgrade the shower stall. Jeff, installed a pre-fan’s enclosure. The work was flawless. The water damage repair downstairs was excellent, as if it never happened."

"Mr. Ferrell first connected his computer to my computer via internet and worked for quite a few hours trying to determine what exactly was wrong. The next day he continued working from his computer for several hours. He determined he would have to have my desktop tower to complete the repair. He and my son met in Huntsville to exchange the tower. He then cleaned up a lot of what was wrong and reloaded Windows 10. He deleted the D: drive which had way too much memory allotted to it. The tower was returned and I plugged it all back together and it is working better than it did when I first purchased it. I would use him again and I recommend him highly to anyone needing computer updating and/or repair. His work is warrantied and he is very personable, knowledgeable, and helpful."

"I had friends who had these screen doors in their home so I went out to Edmonds to see their products.  The person I worked with was very helpful and answered all the questions I had.
The person who installed the door was very professional and did a great clean up job.
The retractable door is wonderful.  I have a very small kitchen porch and my previous screen blocked entrance into the kitchen.  This door solved the issue and it's great to have a full screen when I want to "air out" the kitchen.
I had no idea the products this company represents.  They carry beautiful solar tubes, windows and aluminum porch railings which I also purchased.

"They sent Jacob out.  Very professional, helpful and respectful of your home.  He was able to repair everything I had on the list.  The more he did the more things i could think of for him to do that I have been wanting to change.  I only took away points because of the fact that their Big Deal pricing fluctuates quite a bit, so when I buy at the higher rate, I am little annoyed.

"Jose was very kind and communicative in his scheduling and pricing the work. When work day came himself and his team were able to get the job done in a timely manner. My siding repair looks brand new and clean. I couldn t be happier with my experience. There was also no up selling or trying to do more work than necessary which I appreciated since I am on a budget at the moment. I ll definitely use them in the future."

Screen Repair questions, answered by experts

Common problems include leaks, broken glass, and damaged frames. Regular maintenance prevents extensive damage.

Most standard windows can accommodate solar screens, but specialty shapes or non-standard frames may require custom solutions. It’s important to consult with a professional to ensure compatibility and proper fit for unique window designs. Arched, bay, and fabricated windows often need fabricated screens, which can increase costs and lead time.

Most window screens last for about 10 to 12 years, assuming they are made from quality materials and receive proper care. The lifespan of common materials like fiberglass and aluminum can vary based on weather exposure, as constant sun or harsh winters can accelerate wear and tear. Regular cleaning and basic maintenance can help extend their life. Signs that a screen needs to be replaced include rips, tears, brittle or sagging material, fading, or a bent frame. While small tears can often be repaired, larger areas of damage typically mean it's time to replace the entire screen.

It’s possible to make minor screen repairs yourself using a waterproof adhesive for small tears or a screen patch kit for larger tears and holes. However, it’s usually a better option to call in a professional window technician. It’s very easy to use too much waterproof glue, resulting in a messy appearance that might demand a full replacement anyway. A screen repair technician will not only be able to carry out clean repairs and patches that aren’t obvious, but they can also let you know if replacing your screen is a more cost-effective option.

If your door has interchangeable inserts, you’ll likely want to swap the glass out for a screen during the summer months. The process to do so will vary by door, but you’ll follow these general steps: First, use a flathead screwdriver to pop out the retainer strips—the plastic strips running down both long (and sometimes all four) sides of the door. Then gently pull them out by hand. Carefully remove the glass insert from the door and replace it with the screen. Finally, push the plastic retainer strips back into place, working from top to bottom.
