We run a small (by choice) profitable business that was established in 2001. The company provides services commonly requested by real estate agents and their clients - the property owners. Services include most of the necessary items that enable the property to look its best. A lot of Sellers are now having a pre-inspection done, and, as a result a list of "to do" items is generated. This is where we come in. We do a general walk through to familiarize ourselves with what will need to be done, and what it will cost. We work with the property owner to arrive at a cost estimate that fits the budget. We do NOT subcontract. We do all the work ourselves and take responsibility for the results. We offer FREE WRITTEN ESTIMATES. We do NOT charge for "travel time". References are available upon request. Most of our repeat business comes from Realtors© who are among the top producers in the Seattle area, they rely on us to get the project done properly the first time, on time and at a reasonable price. All work is guaranteed. Materials are not marked up - we simply ask that you reimburse us for the cost of the materials being used on your behalf. Receipts are supplied. All completed workis itemized on the final invoice. We accept major credit cards. We offer prompt, courteous service(within a day or so of contacting us). We are available 24/7. So just call, make an appointment and tell us what you need to have done. We are licensed, bonded and insured and have never had a claim! Written communication is the way we follow up. Questions are gladly answered - we would like to be your "go to company" and would welcome the opportunity to work on your next project(s). Thanks for taking the time to read all of this.

I am a reliable, responsible, hard working carpenter looking for steady and challenging work. I have been in and out of work with several local remodeling companies whom I still help at times. I have a work van and tools. For a year I have had a business of my own, Hughesnorthwest. Being a one man army for awhile I’ve been leaning towards working for others. I excel in residential or commercial work all the same. I am the resident carpenter for my apartment complex downtown, The Humphrey. I do work for several local downtown businesses when needed. For the past six months I have been working with Allied Business Enterprises a local chain of gun stores as a general carpenter building new stores and maintaining all aspects of the business. The commute has taken me out of state and I am looking for some local work. I have a college education consisting of 4 yrs. of medical school before I chose to become a carpenter/sub-contractor. I began the trades owning a prestigious framing company from the ages of 21 to 24, working on site every day. I am a professional with good work ethic and excel in the construction trades. I know I am a very hard working person and I’ve proved it more times then I care to mention. I am a leader and a teacher on the job. My background is in rough framing but I have graduated to many other facets of the trades. I have many years experience building custom homes and reading blueprints. I have also spent 5 years renovating Marriott and Hilton hotels with Lakeshore construction out of Tulsa, OK. My duties there included metal framing, sheetrock, and foreman responsibilities. I have successfully managed jobs with 100+workers for extended periods of time. My last job with Lakeshore lasted 2 years in Aruba working on the Marriott there as a lead carpenter/sub. I am interested in any work available. I am more then qualified for any position in the construction field. I also believe that being a small business owner has given me a well rounded and unique perspective of the many diverse facets relating to clients needs and a greater understanding of practical application in all areas of the industry.

Custom furniture can provide more efficient storage and maximize resources.

Adding a mudroom is one of the most budget-friendly home additions compared to other projects, costing between $8,000 and $16,000 on average. Not only is the room often quite small, but it also requires minimal fixtures or wiring to make the room practical. The most costly features include a weatherproof floor and an exterior door.

A "reach-in pantry" is a smaller, cabinet-style pantry that allows you to grab items by simply reaching inside. On the other hand, a "walk-in pantry" is like a closet or small room that offers a larger space that you can physically enter to get your food. Walk-in pantries allow for more customizable shelving. A reach-in pantry is usually around 5 feet wide by 2 feet deep, while a walk-in pantry is closer to 5 feet by 5 feet or larger.

Bedrooms and living rooms generally cost the least to remodel. Of course, the project price will depend on what you're planning to do to the space and the cost of the materials you choose to incorporate. Prices are typically lower than those of other remodels because major plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work isn't often part of remodeling these rooms.

Plywood, MDF (medium-density fiberboard), and solid wood are all popular options for closet shelving. Plywood and solid wood are sturdy and ideal for extended shelves or heavy items. MDF is a budget-friendly choice for light to moderate storage, but it can sag under heavy weight if not adequately supported. Wire shelving is another alternative that allows airflow, making it especially useful in humid spaces such as laundry rooms or basements.
