Arvid's Interiors and Design is locally owned and has been serving Chehalis and the surrounding communities since 1976. We offer all types of flooring including - carpet, luxury vinyl plank/tile, laminate, tile, and hardwood. Tile for showers and quartz surfaces. Window treatments, specifically Hunter Douglas. Custom draperies and upholstery, with hundreds of fabrics to choose from.

"Overall, the process went very well. The front office and the work teams communicated with us each step along the way. Through a back order and trying to coordinate plumbing, electrical, construction and the finishing crew things came together nicely. The work crew almost felt like family while they remodeled our kitchen. They followed up quickly after the job was completed to check on some questions we had. Our experience was very positive. Wall panels offer functional and aesthetic benefits. From a practical standpoint, panels can improve your home's insulation and energy efficiency, especially if you opt for solid wood panels. They can also help protect your existing wall.

Aesthetically, wall panels have a knack for adding dynamic texture, warmth, and sophistication to a room. And thanks to their many different shapes, sizes, and styles, wall panels can elevate a wide variety of home designs.

Finally, it’s relatively easy to cover wall panels, so you have some flexibility if you end up not liking the look over time.

Peel-and-stick wallpaper isn’t the best choice to cover wood paneling. Because paneling has a textured, uneven surface with grooves and peel-and-stick wallpaper has weaker adhesive than traditional wallpaper, you’d need to do a significant amount of prep work to get the wallpaper to lay flat and adhere properly. Peel-and-stick wallpaper works best on painted or primed drywall without a textured finish.

You can put wallpaper in a bathroom, but peel-and-stick wallpaper sometimes doesn’t adhere as well in a humid bathroom as traditional wallpaper with adhesive. If your bathroom has fans that aid in ventilation, you can reduce problems with humidity for peel-and-stick wallpaper. Selecting a vinyl- or polyester-based peel-and-stick wallpaper should give you more durable results than other materials.

Textured or patterned vinyl wallpaper designs are the best option for hiding imperfections. Embossed designs or faux finishes like brick, wood, or linen textures are especially effective at camouflaging dents, cracks, or uneven surfaces. Avoid smooth, shiny finishes, as they can highlight flaws rather than conceal them.
