"A couple months ago we purchased a shower replacement from Jacuzzi Bath Remodel of Seattle. Yesterday and today John M. and Joe D. installed our new shower. We have never had better professionals do anything in our house. The installation should have started a day earlier than it did, but the installer assigned to our job was ill. The dispatcher apologized and told me that they would be sending the "A-Team" the next day. That was an understatement (John has over 30 years in the trade) . Joe and John arrived EXACTLY the time they said they would. Before starting they explained exactly what they would be doing. They worked quickly, were very friendly and answered all question during the install. At the end of each day the work areas were cleaner than when they arrived. At the end they explained in detail, how the new shower worked. True professionals. You could tell that they really loved their jobs. We would hire them anytime. Thanks J & J! "Fantastic. The majority of work was done in 3 days. Unbelievable!!! The plumbing under the house was a really tight squeeze and it was done to perfection. He had to come back twice for the dishwasher because the door wouldn't close. It turned out to be a manufacturer's defect and had nothing to do with him. Great customer service.
When I bought the house, a plumbing nightmare was discovered. Mismatched pipes under the house  with a heat lamp (surprise!) Of course there was no indication of possible plumbing problems from the prior owner. If we hadn't inspected under the house, we would have had a nightmare in the winter. The shower plumbing sprayed water out the backside into a closet. The washer hook up did not have appropriate venting and the dryer vent went into the floor and under the house through nothing but a tinfoil dryer vent. The barn pipes leaked and one had burst during the period of time the house was empty.
I had 3 bids on this job. One was $10,000 with caveats about possible extra charges. One was $6500 with caveats about extra charges. JM Plumbing said both those bids were too high and he would be more than happy to do it for $6200.
Great job, great work, great customer service. I have recommended him to the Culligan Man as a top-notch example of what to expect from a plumber.

"Rafael came over the same day that I called. He is knowledgeable, professional and answered all my questions and concerns. He checked for moisture indoors and along the wall outside to determine what caused the problem and to rule out a deeper issue such as a leak or moisture problem. There were peculiar variations in the moisture readings taken on the cement slab so he recommended calling California Leak Detection company for further investigation into possible leaks. (A plumber from Ca. Leak Detection charged $200. to come to the house. He did not use any instrumentation. He was not able to detect any reason for a problem in the closet. I wouldn't use Ca. Leak Detection again.) I appreciated the time and care that Rafael took and he didn't charge me for coming to look. I have spoken with Rafael since and I may use his company to clean and disinfect the carpet."
