"They actually went above and beyond our agreement and expectations.  We have had two previous landscapers in doing work and these folks were far and away they only ones I'd ever have back.
They listened to our requests, suggested some enhancements (not necessarily to their monetary advantage) and did everything on time and efficiently.  My only drawback was that we requested landscape fabric be laid in places and it was not (we discovered a couple months later).  I would say double check on that one thing.  Otherwise everything they did was exactly what we discussed and even did a bit more with the fountain in the back.  They also moved some of the plants they placed at our request.  They had to deal with some exisiting stone pavers and expansion of an old system.  They did a really nice job melding the two together, even with a slope and a retaining wall involved.
The best landscapers we've had bid any work at our house and the best that have done work!

Fountains questions, answered by experts

Yes, many brands make models similar to endless pools with a range of features. Some companies feature temporary aboveground pools that imitate the effect of permanent installations. Small home pool spas—or spools—as well as lap pools and pools without propulsion designs for water aerobics are also available.

Because frogs require fresh water for survival, they can die from repeated exposure to swimming pool chemicals. Chlorine dehydrates frogs, which can lead to their deaths. To ensure frogs don’t hang out in your pool for long periods, safely remove them once you spot them in your pool and install a frog log so they can easily hop out on their own.

One of the most important parts of building a pond is digging the right depth. Your pond needs to be at least one to two feet deep. The specifics of the depth will depend on factors such as the placement of the pond and whether you plan on having fish. If you have fish in your pond, it will need to be at least two feet deep.

When deep cleaning your koi pond, transfer fish to a clean, uncontaminated container at least one foot deep, like a large bucket, tub, or kiddie pond. Fill the container with their existing pond water to avoid shocking them, and place the container in full or partial shade. When it’s time to reintroduce them into the pond, slowly add the new water to the container before adding the fish and container water back into the pond.

Yes, it’s possible to DIY a plunge pool and shave labor costs off of the project total. If you’re considering a DIY build, keep in mind that you will be responsible for pool installation and landscaping (which may require excavation). This type of DIY project is best left to particularly handy homeowners who have prior pool installation experience.
