"Excellent! My extra bathroom was a half bath with a washer and dryer and we wanted to make it a full bath. Bob relocated the washer and dryer to another spot in the house and did a beautiful job of putting a bath tub/shower in. The title is gorgeous, very happy with the job. We also did not have a place for a dishwasher in our kitchen when we bought our house and he plumbed in a dishwasher for us. Very happy with all the work he’s done. Would 100% recommend."

"We recently finished our 600 sq/ft room addition at our home. We can’t write here enough good things about how satisfied we are with the completed addition project. We have already referred Pure Home Remodeling to some of our friends. Our addition project was to add an additional master suite that includes a small sitting room with built in wall cabinets and a small bar, a full bathroom, walk-in closet and of course the bedroom. Emil and his dedicated hardworking crew did a wonderful job. Not only that they took the blue prints and build them but they did it like it was their own project. They asked all the right questions and suggested many recommendations when they noticed a problem with the existing plans. Emil was at our house on a daily basis and he kept us informed of the current status of the work. They finished the remodeling job ahead of the planed date. We will contact them again in the future for any remodeling projects we may have."

"They did a real good job. They were real professional. We can now open the garage door from the inside of the house and now it is so smooth that we have to check to see if we hit the button to open it or close it.  Before we used to know when it was opening or closing because it used to make a noise. It helps when you move to a city where you are new. "

Closets questions, answered by experts

The differences between a built-in closet and a walk-in aren’t that different from a built-in wardrobe and a walk-in closet. It’s fairly simple—a walk-in closet is a closet you can physically enter, stand in, and walk around in. A built-in (whether wardrobe or closet) is more akin to covered shelves installed into a recess in the wall. Another big difference is walk-in closets almost always have traditional full-size doors, while built-ins either have no doors or use sliding doors.

Costs depend on material type, size, and additional features like lighting or sliding doors.

Adding a mudroom is one of the most budget-friendly home additions compared to other projects, costing between $8,000 and $16,000 on average. Not only is the room often quite small, but it also requires minimal fixtures or wiring to make the room practical. The most costly features include a weatherproof floor and an exterior door.

The vertical space between closet shelves depends on what you're storing. For clothing like shirts and sweaters, 10 to 12 inches is enough. Towels and linens need 12 to 15 inches, while tall storage bins may require 18 inches or more. Overcrowding your shelves can reduce accessibility and increase clutter, so be sure to leave breathing room for your items.

Some features and upgrades you can add (some of which increase the closet’s value) are: modular shelving, motion-activated lighting, climate control, custom lighting, cigar humidors, revolving shoe racks, jewelry shelves, custom woodwork, and built-in laundry hampers. While only truly luxury closets have all of these, many custom closets have at least one special feature listed above.
