"What can I say? Awesome doesnt do it. Incredible. Getting closer. Showed up on time. Told him my electrical issues. Quoted me a good price. He was able to do the repairs in a timely fashion. He explained what was going on to me. Offered to pick up new items needed to replace one ceiling light and exhaust fan motor. He even installed a new outdoor light fixture that was broken by a painting company who bought the new fixture, but never installed it. Top quality! Very friendly! Enjoyed talking to him. (and I'm not a talker!). Have any issues with electrical? HIRE DEDICATED ELECTRICAL SERVICES!"

"The young man was great. I showed him the basement work, I wanted lights all to turn on at the same time. He also upgraded the lighting in the kitchen to be bright and wonderful. In the garage, I wanted new fixtures so the area would be brightly lite. He went shopping for the specific kinds of lighting that would be best for the job. This is the 2nd time I have used Hunts, the first was an outside lighting project."

Small jobs welcome

"LIsa was absolutley great. On time, and very knowledgeable. She more than helped me out when I know nothing about electrical. You want to hire someone who you can trust, but you just never know. Lisa was great right from the start, she made me feel at ease from the beginning and I would recommend her again in a minute. Great job, thank you. Rick G."

Chandelier Installation questions, answered by experts

There are few disadvantages to LED bulbs when compared to incandescent, but that isn’t to say they are perfect. Cooler LED lights emit an enormous amount of blue light. This can affect people with certain conditions and has been known to mess with your circadian rhythm. LEDs can also overheat, are prone to flicker, and may not be consistent in color across all bulbs in a pack

LED light strips might fall off your walls if the walls weren’t clean before installation. Make sure you clean and dry the wall first to remove oil, dirt, and debris that can keep the adhesive strip from fully sticking to the surface. If you cleaned the area and the LED lights are still falling, try installing fixing clips to keep the lights in place.

Yes, you should have an outlet box if you plan on installing an outdoor fixture. You can install an additional outlet box at the same time you complete your fixture installation, though. Not only does this outlet work with outdoor light fixtures, but it comes in handy for other outdoor fixtures, like holiday lights.

Some types of fixtures might be a little trickier to remove than others, but they’re all relatively basic DIY jobs that should take an hour or less. Identifying the type of light you have is the first step in a safe, simple removal—learn how to remove recessed lights for a quick how-to on taking out one of the more common types of fixtures.

Installing recessed lights requires you to cut holes in the ceiling, create an electrical wiring connection, install the fixture, and connect it to your service panel. It should only be done by those with electrical skills, due to the safety concerns it presents.

If you feel uneasy about taking it on yourself, it’s recommended to contact a local technician to complete the installation for you.
