"The housecleaning portion of the job was done very well. They cleaned out my fridge, oven, microwave, walls, bathrooms were gorgeous. Impressed. A few spots missed but overall very good. The windows also looked the best I had seen them in years, very nice! The only part I was not happy with was the carpet cleaning. Do not recommend their carpet services. There were tons of spots and stains that were left behind. It felt like all they did was get the carpets wet. I made them come back in and redo the areas with the upholstery tool and it did a little better, but still lots of spots left behind. I had another company come out and do the carpets and all those spots came up. Good cleaning, bad carpets."

Yes, vinegar can remove poop stains. How long the poop sits on your carpet will determine how many rounds of solution you’ll need and the length per round. One round should be enough if you’re dealing with a fresh stain, but more stubborn stains might require longer rounds. If you prefer a more effective way to remove dog poop, consider an enzyme cleaner that can break down both stains and odor. 

You can clean your carpet with products you probably already have underneath your sink. You can use baking soda the same as a powdered carpet cleaner. Club soda can lift new stains, while white vinegar and dish soap can pull out old stains.

In some cases, yes, it’s safe to spray hydrogen peroxide on your mattress, but the solution can damage memory foam mattresses, so you should only use it on non-memory foam mattresses. If you have a standard spring mattress, you can mix hydrogen peroxide with cold water in a 1:1 ratio and spray that on your urine-soaked mattress. If you’re cleaning pee out of a memory foam mattress, swap out the hydrogen peroxide for white distilled vinegar, or call in a professional mattress cleaner to avoid doing damage to your mattress.
