"So north by northwest came highly recommended by a good friend of ours as we just purchased our home and we new it needed some extensive electrical work, ie new panel, open grounds fixed, we had multiple companies come out and give us the rundown, we went with north by northwest, upon us giving them all the issues and inspections we were very transparent and clear as to what we needed and safety concerns that we wanted addressed, I was VERY clear I wanted the house safe for my wife and children ,we were told they would be take care of, in the paperwork and verbally, they come and start the work and have still not done as they have stated they would do, I understand things come up and need to be addressed but here we are going back and forth and trying to get more estimates and quotes and the house is still not done, I am a cut and dry kind of man where honesty and integrity mean everything to me and when I say I am going to do something I do it. If your home already has a grinder pump and you’re still noticing issues (like frequently clogged toilets and sinks), it could be time to upgrade your grinder pump. Start by checking your existing horsepower. If there are four or fewer people living in your home, using a 1/2-horsepower grinder pump should be sufficient. Larger households should consider investing in a 1-horsepower grinder pump to maximize wastewater removal efforts.

Generally, you’ll want to keep between 60 and 70 feet between the generator and the transfer switch. There are a few reasons for this, including:
