"Marquez Roofing provided a very competitive quote to re-roof our home. They came out and did a thorough evaluation, listened to what we said we wanted (product and installation specifics) and then delivered a detailed quote that noted all those details. Destiny is super friendly and personable. She quickly got answers to any and all questions and was always easily reachable. Destiny contacted us a few days before they scheduled our work to make sure we were OK with the timing. On the day the project started, the crew showed up exactly when she said they would and got set up for work. The crew was coordinated and very professional. They had the old roof stripped off before lunch and began the installation soon thereafter. In total, they completely re-roofed our 2500 sf house in a day and a half. "Modernized Exteriors seem to have built a decent deck for a decent price but in a somewhat sloppy and dishonest way. First, they left hundreds of pieces of debris including over 100 nails, screws, and other fasteners, and hundreds of pieces of the old deck lying around, including some pieces over six feet long, many with embedded nails sticking out. For months, nearly every time my daughters went out to play they came back with a handful of nails and screws. Second, the old deck had a notch through which the gutter downspout passed to reach the drain in the ground. Instead of cutting a notch for the downspout, they just tossed it behind a bush allowing the gutter to empty directly onto the deck. They promised a 12-month warranty, saying they'd come out to correct any defects. When I mentioned the disconnected gutter they initially said they'd fix it, but then ignored my follow-up messages when I asked them to actually do it. So they may not honor their promises."
