A technician experienced with tile roofing brought two helpers and completed the repair promptly. The channel for rain water was obstructed, causing water to back up and sneak down next to the chimney, causing water damage on the garage ceiling. It's an old tile that would be hard if not impossible to match, so they saved all of the tile that they could, repaired and reinforced the channel, ensuring that water would flow easily off of the roof. They cleaned everything up on the roof and below before leaving. There aren't many people locally who know how to repair tile roofs, so I was lucky to find Perfect Circle Construction. For instance, the last time I had a transmission flush, a hose clamp was not put back on (or fell off) and I lost all my transmission fluid on the highway - fortunately I was able to baby my car over to the side without getting hit. Another time I lost all my oil because the oil pan cap was not put on. Both times they were appalled and very apologetic and remedied the situation at no cost to us. Another time I had electrical issues that were intermittent, and I had to take it back many times to get the original issue fixed, fixing a lot of other stuff in the meantime that probably was not necessary. I guess that is not unusual with intermittent electrical issues, but it is still painful to put out money and not get something fixed. Apart from a few instances in the last several years, we have had really good service from them. It is a comfortable feeling to walk into a place of business and be greeted by name. They also provide transportation to and from work if needed, send out discount coupons in the mail, and give free car wash coupons every time the car is serviced. However, we just purchased a used car for from one of the major auto dealerships in town, and for grins I took my car to them recently for an oil change instead of Motoring Services. They were almost half the cost, and they washed and vacuumed the car as well!! I inquired and they also provide transportation to and from work, as well as providing a loaner car if you car is in the shop for more than a day. Although we love the people at Motoring Services and have known them a long time, we may end up shifting our business over to one of the "big boys" in the future if their costs and quality don't improve. He made good on everything and receipts for all materials used were provided so we could see exactly what things had cost. The finish work in the skylight in our bathroom looks better than new. There were only a couple of minor things that could have been better. I forgot to remove a garden hose reel that was attached to the house. They did remove it to paint behind it but the hose has paint on it for some reason and it was not re-installed back correctly. I asked for an end-cap that was missing on the end of the gutter to be replaced, which was overlooked. Chimney Cap Service reviews from real Angi homeowners in Kennewick, WA
Gary did another fine job for us. He installed a beautiful tile back splash for my mother. I super appreciate his attention to detail. He got most of our selected tile installed but it looked incomplete. So he offered us some choices and had him use bull-nose tiles to cap the 6 inch back...
Bernie and his crew have done several jobs for me the last few years. I've had sprinklers winterized, repaired, adjusted, and capped. Each time they've done the work a few days after I contact them. I've been very happy with this company and will continue to use them.

"Ordered and paid for custom awning that was to take 5 weeks. Its now been 16 weeks and still waiting. Owner is at best noncommunicable and at worst, rude. I'm now wondering if this is a scam and not a real business."

Here at Pringles Power Vac we employ the most effective way to clean air ducts and ventilation systems by using Source Removal Methods of cleaning. We use our state of the art truck mounted vacuum to place the system under negative pressure, While the powerful vacuum draws air through the system, agitation devices are inserted into the ducts to dislodge any debris that might be stuck to interior surfaces. The debris then travels down the ducts to the vacuum, which removes it from the system and the home. With each duct cleaning we also clean the furnace, heating coils, evaporator coil, condensate drain pan, fan and fan housing.
"Terrific experience! Scott and AJ arrived promptly as scheduled. Both were very professional and courteous. After a brief site survey and discussion, they quickly and efficiently went to work. Also expertly explained any questions I had. The amount of debris they removed from my HVAC system was astounding, and I've noticed an immediate difference in my central AC performance and lack of dust in the air! After the job, they put everything back together and thoroughly cleaned up. I'm extremely satisfied by the service, and especially with techs Scott and AJ. Great job!"

"Just want to start by saying that the installers of our new pellet stove were fabulous. Professional, timely, efficient, clean and capable. They took extra time to make sure the stove was installed correctly and worked efficiently and quietly. They are the only reason this review has 2 stars. The owners of the business on the other hand are dishonest, misleading, incompetent and our whole experience with them was a journey of frustration and anger. To start, we went into Fire and Water wanting a new mantle for our living room fireplace that had a wood burning stove insert already. Greg, the owner made an appointment to come and see that unit and one we had downstairs to give us a quote. During that visit, he convinced us that our existing unit was unsafe (lie), that our chimney was unlined (lie), that if we had a fire the insurance company would not cover it (lie), and that if we rushed our order that we would be eligible for a $2000 tax rebate on the 2023 taxes (lie). He convinced us that we needed a pellet stove for our upstairs unit or we would not be up to code when we tried to sell the house (misleading and a lie). This was the end of December and he convinced us if we rushed the order and got it in before the end of the year, we could get the tax break in 2023 (lie). When we got to Fire and Water, we spoke with his son Marcus who told us because their computers were down and had been for days, he would have to hand write the quote, and left off the mantle. He said he would be back in contact and NEVER called us back. The only time we spoke to anyone at Fire and Water was when we had to take time out of our schedules and go into the store and then it was never to talk to Marcus again. The mantle discussion was continuously dropped. When we were finally coming up to the time that our unit would come in, we went back into the store to talk about the mantle one more time. I was extremely frustrated by the time as we realized that 90% of what Greg told me was a LIE and we wanted to put the entire project on hold, only to be told at that time that our order was non-refundable (we were not informed of this at the time we put the order in, or we would have waited). Yet, they conversation about the mantle still hadn't happened, and we were were now just going to go ahead with the pellet stove and get done with these dishonest, incompetent imbeciles. When we asked to talk with Greg, we were told "I am not talking with those people." So the owner was too much of a coward to have a earnest conversation with a client. The irony of the situation was that we went into the conversation with wanting 2 units and 2 new mantles. Now we will NEVER being doing business with these people again, and they have lost at least $15K of additional work with us and more with the people we tell about our experience and convince to not work with them either. Please save yourselves the frustration of working with Fire and Water. Unless you know exactly what you want and can use their highly competent installers, don't trust anything anyone tells you in the store. I think they are not capable of telling the truth."

FAQs for chimney cap service projects in Kennewick, WA
Chimney caps may be installed by a few different professionals, including a chimney sweep or a mason that specializes in fireplaces and chimneys. A gas fireplace technician is the best person to install a chimney cap on a gas log fireplace vent to be sure the cap is appropriate for the application.
A chimney cap costs about $300 on average. The prices range from about $75 to $1,000, depending on the material, size, any repairs needed, and if your chimney cap requires custom fabrication. Chimney caps are usually made from galvanized steel, copper, or stainless steel. Additional costs may include hiring a chimney sweep to clean the chimney before a cap is installed.
Help reduce energy bills by helping regulate your home’s temperature
Typically, a chimney cap will last from three to 25 years. This wide range is due to variables like climate, the material the cap is made from, and how often you use your fireplace. Regular inspections and maintenance can help extend the life of your chimney cap.
The best style of chimney cap for a brick chimney is one that fits tightly around the brick top of the chimney. The cap should have a screen to fully enclose it to keep animals out. The best materials include stainless steel, copper, or aluminum that fit tightly or are custom fabricated for a perfect fit on your chimney.
