A Advanced SepticThe technicians were punctual, courteous and very professional. We received a biography and photo of Jon and Doug before they arrived for the appointment. They answered any questions we had, and they smiled. We were very impressed with their neat and clean appearances, especially since it was in the afternoon. All contacts with the company were friendly and handled in an very timely manner. There was no trace of a mess left when they finished. The price for the work was fair and just. We will use them again and most definitely will recommend them. This is a very well run business with top notch office staff and technicians.- Cynthia D.

A Advanced SepticYou need to hire A Advanced Septic if you need work done! So these are the specifics: 12" Riser and lid installed, 24" Riser and lid installed, tank repealed which included digging down and around the septic tank, exposing the tank below line penetrations, per and clean tank surface, sealed inlet and outlet penetration into tank, applied Jet-set to tank bottom and seam, remove and re-seal riser assemblies, wrap exterior and top of tank with moist barrier, and then back-filled the whole area. And this is the rest of the story: My husband just died in December 2020. Of course everything went wrong after that. We had heavy rains and my sump pump overflowed into the basement - our living area. It seems that the previous owner did NOT direct the drain for the sump pump into the septic tank - and we still have to find out where it drains to. But anyway, the floor flooded (laminate flooring), all the rugs were damaged, the walls soaked up water, and all of that has to be fixed. While the plumber was working on the sump pump he looked at the septic tank and found that it needed resealing - because the previous owner did a do-it-yourself- fix with a cheap septic pump and illegal modifications. The septic tank had to be pumped PLUS the septic pump had to be replaced - to the tune of $3,000.00. But because the tank had to be resealed so it wouldn't happen again, they could not guarantee the pump if there were more heavy rains before the re-sealing was done. Bob Larson Plumbing, LLC called A Advanced Septic to help me and they sent Travis out to look at the situation and write up an estimate; the following week they were here fixing everything. They can't fix my basement floor or walls or correct where to drain the sump pump, but it is such a relief to know that the septic tank is not going to fail the next time it rains! The technicians were knowledgeable, timely, efficient and friendly. I am so grateful for the work they did, especially at a very high stress time for me having just lost my husband and then the flood in the house and then the septic tank pump not working.- Heidi B.

Sewer Friendly, LLCSewer Friendly was fantastic to work with! A shout out to Sherrie, Rick, Elliott, Roberto, Maza, Tristan and John! Excellent, clear and fast communication with Elliott over email and on the phone. We hired them to fix our bellied sewer line and to provide an estimate for fixes to the line we share with 2 other neighbors. As you can imagine, that involves a lot of information prepped prior to neighbor buy-in. Once we get the greenlight from all neighbors, we hope to proceed with Sewer Friendly for both the fix to the neighbor's tie in and the permaliner to the main. As for the completed work, the crew was punctual, incredibly friendly and hard working. In our case, our property didn't allow for an excavator so they had to hand dig 10 feet down! What a feat! During the process, they were very careful to place the dug up dirt in the designated areas, keeping my flowers safe. Upon completion, they documented all fixes with photos and texted them to me for my reference. Throughout the process, the foreman, Roberto was phenomenal. What a great guy! Superb communication with the crew and with us, exhibited great judgement on the best course of action to take with the project and was just very sweet. I would definitely recommend Sewer Friendly!- Daniela V.

Aquarius Pump CompanyAquarius Pump Company is an outstanding, service-oriented company that monitors and repairs septic systems. On Saturday morning my septic alarm went off and I called my former septic company who will remain nameless. I left a message on their monitored service line. I left a second message Saturday afternoon. I never received a callback even though I had a paid for contract. I researched Septic repair companies, to find a reputable vendor. Aquarius Pump Company had positive reviews and I spoke with someone in the industry from another company and they highly recommended Aquarius Pump Company. I called their office and Robyn assisted me in obtaining an appointment. She was super professional and set up an appointment for Mike to come out and look at the system. Mike troubleshot and fixed the problem quickly. He also explained how my septic system worked and said if I had any questions do not hesitate to call. He provided awesome service at a reasonable price. I am now using Aquarius Pump Company for my septic contract and any future work that the system will require. It is good to have company I can trust and that I know will respond when there is a problem. Thank you for turning a negative situation into a positive one!- Laura B.

A Advanced SepticInitially I had a tank alert go off and called A-Advance Septics to pump my septic system and troubleshoot the alarm. The required services occurred over 2 days (12/1 & 12/3/2020). On 12/1, Matt V. was the service tech that came to locate/dig the tank lids. Matt was very professional in his work when pumping out the two tanks (septic and pump). Matt was very informative and helpful answering my questions, especially when I did not know about the pump tank plus the need to clean outlet baffle filter annually. Thus the need for replacement lid/risers for future access. Ray B. and Doug G. were also very professional and were able to troubleshoot the tank alarm issue and isolate to failed pump (26 years old) and need to be replaced along with new junction box. On 12/3, EJ M. and Doug G. returned to install 3 sets of lid/risers, junction box, and pump replacement. EJ and Doug were very professional in their work and were also informative upon answering my questions. Overall I was very satisfied on the work that was completed and definitely would recommend and call A-Advanced Septics for future service (I liked the feature on the new lids with your company name and phone number embossed, no need to jog my memory or scramble looking for company name or phone number). Thanks, Chester F.- Chester F.

Delta Van Lines was a terrible experience. They are brokers and don't let them tell you differently. My sales person, Natalie, was quite nice until I started having problems. Then she would not return my calls. She promised me that they used their own trucks and drivers ( except upon rare occasion ) . Not true. My pick up was "Big Boy Moving." Four guys in which one was on the phone the entire time, one was skyping in the bedroom with the doors closed and the other two were working. The head guy immediately told me there would be an extra $300 for a long haul and $150 for a bulk shipment. I had told Natalie the elevator was right there next to the loading dock at my apartment. She said no problem, no long haul charge. The bulk charge, I never did understand and they really couldn't explain it . When I called Natalie while this guy was trying to collect this money, she said and I quote "Well I will never use them again.". She said she would call me back and that's the last I heard from her. I was stuck. I ended up calling Big Boy Movers and they had no answers either. Before the movers were done, they came right out and asked me for a tip. Of course I gave it to them, they had my stuff. But they literally asked me. This was the most unprofessional experience I have had moving. I have written an email to the manager Joshban Molina who has never responded. Natalie stopped communicating the minute she had my money. The only good thing that happened was that they were on time. I do not recommend this company at all. Besides the rudeness of the actual movers, there was no support from the company I had hired, Delta Van Lines. They could have cared less.

Since we are in the wonderful King County, septic tanks have ridiculous requirements. Our house was built in 1964 and had a gravity system that lasted until 2018. Now needing a new system installed a pressure system is required. Totally different than a gravity system. The workers were very nice and helpful in answering questions as the installation went on. Completed the work as planned. Nothing weird popped up when digging and placing the new system. The company always communicated promptly and with enough detail that we could understand what was happening and when. Hopefully this new system will last just as long.

Recent Review:
The worst company we have ever dealt with and I mean EVER! On 1/8/21 my aunt called Roto Rooter to get an estimate for a bathtub faucet replacement. She asked twice specifically what they charge per hour and was told they don't charge by the hour, it's by the job. She asked if they charge to go get parts - and was told NO. They said it's $69.95 to come out and diagnose the problem but if they do the work they don't charge the $69.95. She also called another smaller company and was told they also do it by the job and $49.95 to come out. However, Roto Rooter is a bigger company so she thought there prices would be more reasonable. Also, they could come out first, so they mistakenly choose them. Anyways, the tech was supposed to be there at 2 pm, she called at 2:30 pm to see when he would arrive... he finally got there at 3pm. He helped my uncle remove the front panel along the front of the tub so he could access the Faucet - took him 20 minutes. He stated that we needed a new Faucet and he had to go to Home Depot to get it. He had my aunt sign an almost blank work order stating he would be doing the job. It included her name, address, phone number... no prices were written down at that point. He said did you know faucets can be $800 - $900? It was so ridiculous she figured he had to be kidding but she said it better not be, I've seen them for way cheaper than that. I now think he was testing her at that point, to see how clueless they really were. Mind you, she was in a panic before calling them because that night before when she turned on the faucet, the handle had fallen off and water was going everywhere - so they had to shut the main water valve off, to make it stop. So she was already stressed. Anyways, the tech drove to Home Depot and purchased a Chrome Glacier Bay Roman Tub Faucet for $134 + $12.06 tax total $146.06. When he got back and first walked in the door he stated I saved you $307.88. He didn't elaborate as to how so she figured he meant off the faucet. He removed the old faucet and installed the new faucet, that was it. There was no other parts or lines that needed fixed, just a simple switching out of the faucets, and very easy to access since the panel was off. He also didn't replace the access panel on the front of the tub, my uncle did that. He left the house at 5:57 pm. So it took him 3 hours to help remove the access panel, drive to Home Depot and back and replace the faucet. And this is what he charged and the breakdown of costs! Faucet $292.12 (he doubled the cost). Labor $399/hour cause now he says it's by the hour $399 x 4 $1596 - Overcharged 1 hour. Tax $169.95. Total charge $2058.05 - INSANE. When my aunt asked how did he save her $307.88 he said the job price would of been $2196, so he did by the hour instead. These prices are so f#$%@!# Insane. She called Roto Rooter about 20 times and finally spoke to a manager (Marcus) who says $399 is the going rate per hour for a plumber and these are standard prices in the plumbing industry. In the end, he took $599 off the bill. Meaning this 3 hour job still cost $1459.05. I have tried calling Roto Rooter's GM, but he never calls back and you just get the run around. So I called 5 different plumbers in the Seattle area to find out what there going rates are and what this job should of cost. Average cost per hour $164... but most do it by the job. How the "industry" marks up parts when they have to go get them: 50% markup. Concensus that this job 1) shouldn't of taken 3 hours. 2) cost should of been between $375 - $525. These plumbing companies were shocked at these prices. But then I told them it was Roto Rooter and 3 out of 5 said "oh, that's no surprise". This is down right BS and will be reported to the BBB. Nothing about this company is stand up and it's unheard of what they do to customers, especially senior citizens. Unfortunately, there easy to rip off and most of them don't know how to review or report such scummy businesses! They absolutely should have disclosed the price before doing the work - Nobody would of agreed to that price! NOBODY! We will NEVER use this company again nor will any friends or family. This place should be out of business!!!
