"My automatic pool cover ropes were tangled. This happened just as we were having visitors from out of state. Sadly, we could not open our pool cover and enjoy the pool. "I needed to get a hole drilled for a instant hot water dispenser and a nickel sized chip fixed and had been procrastinating for months... what company would want to come out and do such a small task? I reviewed angieslist and found Puget Sound Stone Repair and put a call into them. Todd called back and offered to come out a few days later on a Saturday to do the repair and drill the hole at a rate of $150 per hour. He felt it wouldn't take much longer than an hour (which it didn't). Communication was good, he was running a bit late but called to tell me which was great. The repair looks fantastic... if you didn't know it was there you wouldn't even see it and I am enjoying the hot water (and chilled water) dispenser installed in the 1.5" hole he drilled. Overall very satisfied and would use Puget Sound Stone Repair again in the future."

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
