"They were a very fast and professional company providing a high quality of work. Leveled floors, hung drywall, painted, installed flooring, and thresholds etc. Restored our home faster than we anticipated. Great communication also!"

"I have been using them for 3 years for multiple projects and would not go to somebody else. They also built a cabin in the woods. It was built 10 miles from the road so it was like carrying all the stuff up the path. They also did the garage and remodeling of the house, mostly kitchen and a little bit of plumbing work in the bathroom. I am still using them and I would be using them for the next thing that will be coming up too."

"I think this painter would be a better choice for an exterior job. Inside, he was not careful and did not sufficiently protect the floors, furniture and woodwork. It is apparent that he did not always put down drop cloths beneath where he was painting. The paint job itself looks good, but I spent more than 4 hours cleaning paint spots off the laminate floor and woodwork, and also found flecks, smears and/or globs of paint on a sofa, TV console, countertops and, an antique chest that has been in my family 150 years. The laminate floor actually had gray paint smears on it, too, because the painter used a drop cloth from a previous job that still had wet gray paint on it. One place on the floor even had a paint ring from a can.

Wallpapering questions, answered by experts

Yes, many types of peel-and-stick wallpaper can be used in bathrooms, especially those made of vinyl or polyester. However, its success depends heavily on the level of moisture and ventilation. In bathrooms with good ventilation, such as those with fans, it can be a durable option. Peel-and-stick wallpaper may not adhere as well as traditional wallpaper in very humid conditions. For bathrooms that see a lot of moisture, like a kids' bathroom or a full bath with a steamy shower and poor ventilation, even high-quality peel-and-stick wallpaper is likely to peel over time.

Both paint and wallpaper can work in a bathroom, provided you choose high-quality products in either category. Washable vinyl wallpapers can stand up to bathroom humidity without peeling, as can semi-gloss or gloss paint finishes. However, if you’re someone who likes to redecorate often, paint may make it easier to change colors or designs more quickly. If you want full humidity protection and cleanability, tile or stone works better.

Common mistakes when finishing basement walls include neglecting proper insulation, insufficient moisture management, and poor ventilation. Not addressing these issues can lead to mold growth, water damage, and discomfort. Additionally, inadequate planning, improper framing, and rushing the project can result in subpar outcomes.

It's essential to follow best practices, seek professional guidance if needed, and prioritize thoroughness and attention to detail.

To pair a unique sense of style with white walls, keep them well-decorated. Hang vibrant art or bold furniture to add color to the room. Add some texture and greenery to the space with plants. Choose accent pieces such as throw pillows or light fixtures with patterns. Having a white wall can be a plus as it allows homeowners to easily decorate their homes as they desire without worrying about clashing with the paint color.

Accent walls have been a popular decor choice over the past two decades, and they don’t seem to be going out of style any time soon. They’re a quick and easy way to change the mood of the room without committing to painting every wall, and many homeowners like the visual interest they add to a room.
