Small jobs welcome

"We needed to upgrade the electrical in our mobile home and add power to our garage/shop. I called ASE and spoke to Art. He was able to come out that day and give a bid. Also met me at my son's house later that day to check out an electrical issue. Bids were very acceptable and work was scheduled. Work at my son's was done a couple days later. I requested a later date due to prep work and 2 electricians arrived right on time. I had all new receptacles installed, ran 3 new circuits (AC, extra hot water tank and split a previous circuit), wiring ran for new ceiling lights, rerouting old wiring and neatening wires from a wall removal. Our little garage/shop had only 1 available receptacle for everything (freezer, lights, etc). Now we have 16 receptacles for 110 and a drop cord for 220. We are so happy! Equipment that has been sitting for years can now be used and no more blowing a breaker if too many amps are used. In the house I can plug in the vacuum without having to crawl under the table or move something to get to a receptacle. Art, Jerron and Hayden were great to work with. They all listened to us, made suggestions and accomplished everything we needed. Highly recommend!!!!!"

"John and Brian were prompt, professional, and had the work done in good time. They obviously work well together and enjoy their work. They gave me exactly what I wanted and didn't try to hard sell me something I didn't need. I would recommend definitely them, in fact I already have! Next time I need electrical work done, I am probably not going to even get bids, I will just call Greener Futures."

Electrical questions, answered by experts

In Centralia, older homes often have outdated wiring or lack modern safety features. Schedule electrical work if you notice outlets that spark, persistent breaker trips during rainy weather, or if your electrical panel feels warm. Homes with original knob-and-tube wiring or no GFCI protection in kitchens and bathrooms should be prioritized for upgrades, especially given Centralia’s frequent damp conditions.

Helpful?

Centralia’s wet climate makes moisture protection vital for any electrical installation, especially for outdoor wiring or basement projects. Scheduling major work between late spring and early fall helps avoid weather delays and ensures safer conditions for electrical panel upgrades or outdoor lighting. Humidity can also accelerate corrosion, so regular home safety inspections are especially important in Centralia.

Helpful?

In Centralia, frequent breaker trips during storms, outlets that feel damp or corroded, or lights dimming when appliances run are signs you need an electrician. If you notice moisture buildup near outlets or persistent GFCI trips in bathrooms, these are often linked to the area’s humidity. Single appliance failures or loose bulbs may require a different specialist, but electrical concerns should be addressed promptly.

Helpful?

Before beginning electrical work in Centralia, confirm you have the necessary permits, which can take up to two weeks to process. Plan projects for drier months to prevent weather-related delays. Make sure your work area is clear and accessible, and review local code requirements, especially for older homes. Gathering multiple quotes from licensed Centralia electricians helps ensure a smooth project.

Helpful?

Centralia offers a range of electrical contractors, including residential electricians for rewiring and safety inspections, specialists in outdoor wiring and generator setups, and experts in solar panel installations. Some contractors focus on smart home automation or EV charging station installations. All professionals in Centralia should meet state licensing and insurance requirements to ensure safe, code-compliant work.
