Grassi has been serving the Walla Walla Valley since 1958 and is family owned and operated. We are committed to honesty, integrity, quality, pride in workmanship, and a high standard of business ethics. Our years of hard work have paid off in a business that continues to grow through referrals of satisfied clients.

"I have been a faithful customer of Grassi’s for 5+ years. They’ve installed 3 systems for me and serviced 4. I am a small business owner in town and don’t take negative reviews lightly. As of today, Grassi has lost me as a loyal customer. Over the past 6 months we’ve had consistent issues with a couple systems (5+ call outs to 2 properties). To their credit, since the units are under warranty they say they will warranty the parts. Even still we are at $1,700+ costs thus far. Today, our tenant was cold and turned on the heater. It is 60 degrees outside. Grassi is charging for another callout as the units that they worked on within the month threw another code. Their technician, Cody, called us and told us that this is an operator error, blaming our tenant for their machine malfunction, as these are “not designed to heat when the temperature outside is above 60”. These are the only heat source for the house as recommended and installed by Grassi. What is our tenant supposed to do? I don’t believe this is an engineering issue as I have more faith in Carrier (the brand installed) or my tenant, who deserves to be comfortable. My take is that this was either poorly installed or poorly recommended. When asking more questions Cody, the technician, told us that we knew nothing about refrigeration and hung up on us."

"Dont buy a generator! Their workers are very nice to talk to & they are responsive. But, I was misled re what the it can do, not informed about gas, & the wait to get it installed was 2 1/2 months! "Bryan" told me several times when I was considering buying it, it would take care of the trips on freezing nights to connect/disconnect the heating tape for my pipes. They still have to be connected. He told me repeatedly that I could run the generator with just the flip of 1 switch. There are numerous that have to be flipped, inside and out. I was also not told about managing the unit through the night while sleeping (I mostly lose power after dark/bedtime so it will run through the night. When "Shelby" was here for the final directions on the unit, he didnt tell me where/how to fill it with gas. I had to call in to find the answers to these concerns. "Tony" was really good initially in fielding them. But hung up quickly when he found the generator couldnt do what was needed ."

Gas Logs questions, answered by experts

In some cases, conversion kits are available, but not all boilers are compatible. Conversion may require significant modifications and should only be performed by a qualified professional. Before making a decision, compare conversion costs to the cost of a complete replacement to determine the most cost-effective and reliable option for your home.

Yes, you can store a propane tank, whether it is full or empty. Remember that the container is contaminated with hazardous materials once it has housed propane, but as long as it’s properly placed in a well-ventilated, temperature-controlled space, a tank is unlikely to cause issues whether it is full of propane or not.

Ensures safety and compliance with local codes, preventing leaks and related hazards.

In most cases, a flexible steel hose connects your gas line to the wall. This process is typical if you are replacing your gas stove or if the old pipe has worn down. However, always leave this job for a professional plumber. Errors can be very dangerous, so it's worth calling a professional to take a look.

Temporarily capping a gas line—for renovations or during travel—doesn’t require a permit. If you plan to remove a gas line and cap it completely, you’ll need to apply and pay for one through your town or city. Depending on your region and its local codes, you may pay between $25 and $100. To avoid a gas leak or other hazards, some cities take the job of permanently adjusting or capping a gas line out of the hands of homeowners. Instead, they require hiring a professional gas plumber.
