Excellent product installed by one of the most knowledgeable and professional technicians I have ever met. I will highly recommend this unit, this company and the technician to my friends and family.

Alpine has maintained our radiant heat system for many years. When boiler replacement was recommended due to normal aging, we naturally turned to Gary and team at Alpine. And they did not disappoint! The new boiler was installed in record time. Gary and team are responsive, professional, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Alpine for any heating needs!

Our furnace was blowing only cool air so I put out an email for 3 quotes on Angie's list in the evening. The next morning I had an email from Alpine stating they could help asap. My husband called them, they were at our home in 30 minutes and the problem was fixed. This is the second time we have gone to Alpine for service and are very pleased.

Mateo came in initially and was unprepared. Needed constant assistance from me to provide ladders and tools. He thought he resolved the issue and left but had to come back the next day as heat still didn’t work. Problem was ventilation and he provided a fix for resolution but he did say most likely a temporary fix. His final recommendation was to get a new ventilation system or furnace. Due to that talked with the owner and he was supposed to give an estimate and come on a Monday the following week. Never heard from him never called back as he said he would. Unresponsive and unprofessionalism is ridiculous from a company rated so highly on here. I do not recommend at all and will look for a another company for my furnace needs as am still having issues.

Alpine sells one of the highest quality with lowest repairs (per Consumer Reports) furnaces, American Standard (same inside as a Trane, yet lower pricing). Gary explained several options with no BS or upsell. In fact, not selling at all, just saying here's your two best choices. And if it were a home for a friend, I'd recommend 'this'. And you'll be happy with either choice, just choose based on your budget and preferences. And no, you don't need or want the fancy super efficient modulating burner furnace... you won't save money, but it will cost more to buy and in repairs later, as they are complex and trouble prone. Other companies sold mid or low tier quality products for more money. Other companies only had one or two staff total, maybe not there when you need them? Other companies did fancy measurements of 'static pressure' and 'heat loss' calculations but wasted my time doing them while acting as if they knew what they were doing. But, in fact, were just 'nice people' selling at a very high price with slick color company brochures. Alpine has a select crew of installers and repair people. Big enough to do it right, small enough to care about you, their customer. Competitive pricing on top tier products. The installation was quickly scheduled. Gary returned to measure for an extra duct that I needed. The crew (two guys) did an excellent job and did not make a big mess. Gary looked in on things while the job was being done. All electrical work, gas piping, and metal fabrication, items that support a good installation of a furnace, were done neatly and with good practices and to code. I know of these things, having owned many homes and rentals through the years and being in the construction industry myself. No extra charges for 'we didn't anticipate this' either. The bid price was the final price, with a discount for cash or check. Alpine can make custom sheet metal parts in their own shop, which is fast and correct. Some companies just use stock parts and 'make them fit'. Alpine's sheet metal work fit perfectly as they transitioned from the new American Standard Furnace to the existing duct work. In sum, a 100% satisfactory experience, first site visit through clean up. Thank you, Alpine!

It went well considering all the work that ended up needing to be done to replace the coil where the leak was found. Had the leak not been found we would have burned up another heat pump.

They split half of the difference of the rebate that I wasn't eligible for, since they didn't tell me. I was satisfied with the price.

It still leaks, but not fast enough to do anything about it. I would not use this provider again if I had a reasonable choice.

Oh man, it is great! AHC is a real family affair. Gary, the owner came out to look over my house, suggest a proper sized mini ductless heat pump, and go over the entire installation process with me. The installers, Jim and young Gary arrived on time and quickly had the unit installed. Island Electric sent Gene to run new 220 voltage wiring to the unit. Jim and Gary, my installers return to start, test, and run the unit, making sure I understood all the details. What a joy to finally be warm after 7 years of tolerating a clunky old gas stove. My new Daikin mini ductless heat pump is whisper quiet, efficient, and saves me more money for each degree the temperature falls in the winter and rises in the summer. Heating and cooling all In one compact and stylish design. Alpine Heating and Cooling do a wonderful job and I'd recommend them to anyone at anytime.

I needed a warranty repair on my water heater and was referred to Alpine Heating and Cooling from the water heater manufacturer's site.  Since it went well, I thought I'd let Angie's List know.
I liked that you can schedule a repair or service on the web site.  My water heater died in the evening, past working hours so it was nice to use the web site to provide all the contact details and describe the problem and give them my warranty information and the specific water heater model I had.  I was really worried that the webmail service request would not be monitored and my message lost in the ether.  Happily, they called be back at 8:25 AM the next morning, so you can rest easy because the website scheduling is done right.
The service technician (Andrew M) was very prompt and repaired the water heater no fuss no muss.  He knew his stuff and gave me some good tips for maintaining my system properly and let me know about potential problems with my recirculating pump.  I was interested in getting a tankless system in the future and he had all the information I wanted.  Good job all around.
I'd definitely use Alpine again.  No worries.  Very professional outfit all around.

They were very thorough and informative. Fixed a long standing problem in the 'pool room' where the blower would come on before it had warmed up and blow cold air.  Works properly now.

Alpine was prompt, courteous and professional. The technician arrived exactly when he said he would. He was quick with the diagnosis and repair and was glad he didn't have to sell me a new water heater for another $500. I picked Alpine based on other AL reviews. The cost seemed kind of high, but it's been a long, long time since I've had to call an appliance repair guy to the house. I'd use them again without hesitation.

They were very instrumental in helping narrow down the problem. Above and beyond what most companies do.  This includes time spent on the phone, and the boss coming out as well to walk through with me and hear me out.

The technician arrived on time and was professional and friendly.  He performed the service and gave our old furnace a clean bill of health.  As our furnace is quite old, we asked his advice about what we should consider when it comes time to replace the furnace.  He was helpful and knowledgeable, giving us information and options to consider.  We were very happy with the service and our tech.

Andrew from Alpine Heating and Cooling arrived at the exact time promised, inspected and serviced our furnace system and water heater, giving information about the units as he worked.  We now have peace of mind that they are operating correctly and confidence in keeping them functioning correctly in the future.

They responded quickly and had installed only two days after he gave us
his estimate. The Unit he sold was his demo model, giving us a discount
on this unit. Previously, we had difficulty finding an installer who
could do it without leaving us without hot water for a few weeks.
Overall, we are happy with this service.
