"Rosell Home went beyond the scope of my expectations on the extensive remodel of my home. There were walls that needed to be removed for an open floor plan and all required city permits were scheduled and approved in a timely manner. They made recommendations that enhanced the end result and stayed within budget and their timeline."

"All aspects of our interactions with Greivin/GM Refinishing were excellent. He is very skilled and professional. Greivin contacted me immediately after my HomeAdvisor query and came by to review the scope of the project. His bid was timely and fair. The prep work and the set-up to insure that the our home stayed clean was impressive. The cabinet doors and drawers faces were refinished at his shop; the cabinet surrounds and trim done on site. All had serious water damage and wear. They now look and feel amazing! Most impressive is the kitchen window frames. Greivin suggested refinishing those as well as they were really damaged and beyond shabby looking. He also suggested a deeper stain color. Glad we took his recommendations. He did a beautiful job and they are now a feature in the kitchen. This is the first thing people notice and comment on. I would highly recommend Greivin/GM Refinishing."

Pre Made Cabinets questions, answered by experts

There are three primary ways to attach upper kitchen cabinets to a wall, and installers may use more than one method at a time. The most common method is to drive screws through the back of the cabinets and into studs in the wall behind. Sometimes cabinets are glued to the wall with strong adhesive. Often a combination of screws and adhesive is desirable. The last way is by hanging the cabinets on hardware brackets that attach to the wall before cabinet installation.

While having an assistant to help ensure safety and to lend a hand is desirable, if someone isn't around to assist, you can install kitchen cabinets on your own. Normal kitchen cabinet installation starts with the upper wall cabinets. If you're working on your own, consider installing the bases first and building a temporary support structure on top of them to help you install the uppers.

The cost of bathroom cabinets is $550 on average. You could spend as low as $330 or as much as $42,000 or more, depending on the cabinet size and the type of cabinet you choose.

Stock bathroom cabinets are the most cost-effective option, ranging from $40 to $500 on average. Semi-custom bathroom cabinets range from about $500 to $800 per unit (without installation costs) and offer a wider variety of door and drawer styles than stock cabinets. Custom cabinets range from $700 to $1,000 or more per unit before installation costs.

There’s no strict rule about which way cabinet doors should open, but generally, double cabinet doors should open away from each other. With single doors, you want to avoid having them block your path or swing into  areas where people need to stand. Some kitchens are angled so that cabinet doors may crash into something no matter which way they swing, but the methods above can help prevent damage.

Most built-in bookshelves are custom-made to fit the available space and meet a homeowner's needs. This level of customization allows you to design the exact look and functionality you desire. However, you can buy cheaper, prefabricated bookshelves to slot into your desired space. However, prefabricated designs might not slot in as snuggly or need to be adjusted to fit.
