"Josh redid the dining room chairs. They are 100 years old and the strapping holding the springs had disintegrated. He sourced the strapping and did a great job of restoration including gluing the joints. Cleaned up the area perfectly. We can give Josh the highest rating"

"The company was hired to replace our fascia boards on all three levels of the house. We also had them paint the soffets. This was a large job and they were punctual, professional and really proficient at thier job. The only downside is they were a bit expensive, but we felt they were worth it when we saw the results."

"Superior services is exactly what this company is. Great attitude, on time, true to his word. Grand kids were so very excited,"the construction man is here, the construction man is here" is all they could say while waiting for it to be finished. I would like to submit some photos but it appears that I can't."

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

An easy way to know whether your sand filter has enough sand is to check how full the filter is and what the sand looks and feels like. The filter container should be two-thirds to three-quarters full of sand. Look for interior marks indicating the ideal sand level. If you put your hand into the sand, it should flow through your fingers without clumping. The filter pressure gauge is also an easy indicator—the right amount of sand leads to normal pressure, while too much or too little sand can cause high or low pressure.

Yes, pool pumps use a significant amount of electricity, making them one of the biggest energy consumers in a home. A pool pump can use up to three times as much electricity as a refrigerator. Typically, a residential pool pump consumes about 1 kilowatt-hour (kWh) for every hour it runs. Because pumps often need to run for about eight hours a day to properly filter the water, this can add up to an annual consumption of 3,000 to 5,000 kWh, which can cost between $480 and $800 per year based on average electricity rates.

The amount of electricity your pump uses depends on its size, energy efficiency, and daily run time. To lower your energy consumption, you can choose an energy-efficient or variable-speed pump, ensure it is correctly sized for your pool, and run it only for the minimum time required to keep the water clean.

If you want to get rid of an aboveground pool, one option is to hire a pool removal service to disassemble and dispose of it. However, you might also be able to sell it depending on the pool's condition and age, as well as the demand in your area.

Pool maintenance costs an average of $230 per service, with prices ranging from $50 to $750 per service, depending on several factors. The type of service will usually be the most significant cost factor, as opening and closing a pool takes a few hours and can total $400 or more, while regular cleanings could cost under $100. The size of your pool and the type of pool—above-ground, in-ground, saltwater—can also affect the price of maintenance.

It depends. Your pool might need chlorine every day if the water is exposed to direct sunlight and you use your pool frequently. UV light and constant use will deplete chlorine levels more rapidly. Test your water regularly to see where your levels sit and adjust accordingly. Generally speaking, most homeowners need to add chlorine following a water chemical test about one to three times per week.
